4C Alfa Romeo 4C Concept at Geneva

The Alfa Romeo 4C (Type 960) is a mid-engined sports car that was produced Alfa Romeo. Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the 4C was initially only available as a coupé, with a spider body style coming a few years later in 2015. The name 4C refers to its straight-four engine.

Fun aside, this 4C looks pretty cool. I suspect that we are going to be seeing alot of news regarding Alfa-Romeo in the not too distant future-news not necessarily related to the marques upcoming product line. A-R appears to stand before an unsettled and questionable future. And this will likely afix a very large question mark upon the fate of possible future A-R model offerings. The brand will almost surely survive, as its' brand equity is immense. But under whose umbrella is the big question.

I can forget the Toyata FT86, Porsche Cayman, BMW Z2. This the most sexy 4 cylinder sportscar. Only 850 kg? At last a RWD Alfa Romeo. BMW, I think it is soon going to be time to leave you and go back to my original love: Alfa Romeo. Can't wait for the new Alfa Alfetta (169) with its 400 HP 3.0l V8 TBi and of course RWD.

If the execution was a bit more voluptuous like its bigger brethren, the 8c, this would be absolutely perfect. The idea of a mid-engined Alfa that could compete with a Boxster would be lovely.
As a side note, as "chauvanistic" as it is to have models stand beside cars, I gotta give it up to the Italians! Bellisma!

I don't want to rain on this parade, but this is a kneejerk reaction to the small-size sportscar by VW/Audi/Porsche marques. Audi and Porsche are close to finalising plans for the R5 and 356 respectively.
This 4C concept looks interesting but I bet the production version will do away with many tasty bits and pieces. The headlights, tail-lights, and mirrors will have to be different and will be cheaper. The interior will be watered down big time.
