A8/S8 New S8 0-60 in 4.7 seconds!

As tested in the latest Road & Track. 1/4 mile time was 13.1 @ 108.7 mph. They seemed to like it. The car weighted somewhere in the 4,300 pound range. Starting price was around 95k and as tested 112k. For comparison in the same issue they tested the RS4 0-60 in 4.3, 1/4 mile 12.8@109.7 and it weighted 3,920 pounds. These numbers are only slightly slower than the RS6 tested, with the trap speed slightly higher.

Pretty impressive 4.7s for a 4300lb car.

I think the S8 and RS4 are my favorite Audis as of right now, Man what a garage that would be a an S8 and a RS4 avant mmhm

Only a 400 pound difference between the two cars ***? I know the A8 is on an ASF, but still.

Yeah 4,7 sec, i doubt it, but still it isn't fast enough to compete with the real fast sedans/limousines like MBe63/BMW m5/ even Rs 4 is faster !!!

Imagine you drive a S8 and a RS 4 kicks the shit out of you !!!?????????????
S8 SHould at least have 550 HP than there is a difference between te W12 6.0 L !!!

Yeah agreed, with any of those executive saloons i'm not out drag race at every stop light. However, 4.7 seconds..that's plenty fast enough for me

Nice, Audi finally has an A8 that does 0-100 km/h in under 5 seconds. Hopefully this will shut up the haters on other forums.

Saw a brand spanking new S8 today, and I must say
I was smitten!! I was so impressed I forgot to pull out
my PDA It was that dolphin grey with the titanum
leather, I damn near turn stalker I must redem myself!
