A6/S6/RS6 Price of new S6 announced...

137,000 Euro's.

That's about the same as a 645Ci or 650i coupe.

Or an SL 500

Expensive, but cars are very expensive over here. It's lot's of luxury, power and high tech for the money. More than you get from the competition for that money.

Sorry, I was looking incorrectly I see.

The S8 is 137,000 Euro's

The S6 is 116,000 Euro's

For comparison:
A BMW 550i costs around 90,000 Euro over here. A BMW 650i 106,000 Euro, an M5 131,000 Euro and M6 158,000 Euro

A 650 costs about 150,000 Euro with all the options. Standard a little cheaper ;)

Now, that's better. 550i costs as much as my new car. Interesting. 550i with all options i have costs around 105.000,- € here.

:t-cheers:

So car prizes are pretty equal in our countries.

And to keep this on-topic: The S6 and S8 aren't over-priced.

Has this price been confirmed? That is not cheap at all but not over priced either. In the same country the M5 costs 131 000 euro.

yep compared to M5 its pretty good price.. but lets see what the RS6 will cost..cause the RS4 is xtremely over priced

Yup, that's true. Where i live you have to pay 35k euro for a BMW 320i while you can get the 335i for that kind of money in US.

Woah woah woah! Klier - I wasn't aware that there was such a huge difference between the German and Dutch car prices.

I don't understand what's keeping you guys from driving over to Germany to buy your cars. Am I right to guess that you have to pay the NL tax if you register the car in Holland?

Really, I thought the Germans were going to Holland to save money - must have been misinformed.

The tax-free prices of cars in high-tax countries are usually lower than in countries with no car tax.

Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
