We haven't seen the facelift A6 yet but Autobild has already made a rendering of the next A6!

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Lol , after the next generation A class rendering (not going to be replaced before 2010) , now the 2010 Audi A6.

I guess AutoBild journalists have run out of real stories lately and decided to become prophets.:D

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

That's a pretty good looking chop. I'm all for the curvey, sculpted A5 approach after I saw one yesterday. I hope the A6 will pull from this direction.

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

It look more like a Facelifted A6 to me. ;)
Something in the line of the A4 B6 to B7 facelift.

Hans.

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Looks neat and is in line with Audi's latest car so that is a very realistic chop.

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Hmm, it looks like a 4 door coupe. Can it be that the A7 will look sth like that, just bigger?:eusa_thin

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Oh man, That is hotter than hell!!
I see a lot of A5 in the headlight design which would give the A6 a more youthfull aggrerssive look.

Thats stunning! If Audi takes this direction I`ll be a huge fan of the design.

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Will Audi perform A6 facelift in the radical way like they did with the current A4? Or will the changes be minor?

:t-hands:

Spy pics of RS6 show a car not much different from the current A6, so I doubt facelift will be radical.

Audi guys, any info?

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

It could be the new range of a5's.....because it looks a lot like the a5....and i cant really see this as the new a6....but it does look very good:usa7uh:

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Definitely looks like a BMW.
At least a child of a BMW+Audi parents

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Other than the taillights I think the design is a winner!!
Thats really hot, the Audi design language is all there.

Re: Next generation Audi A6.

Yeah, Audi really needs to make something different with their designs. I mean almost all Audis look too much same, they pull the direction of the lights a little bit diffferent, make a new styled bumper and that's it - there you go a new A XXX or Q XXX - lame. They did revolutionized the whole car market with their singleframe idea but IMHO they are running out of ideas. They already did pull out all they could out of this concept so it's time to move on and not rest on their found glory.

What happens with their designs is that they come out of fashion if you like too fast - when they release a new model, the previous one looks like it was built 15 years ago, not 7 or 8.

That's strange considering how much there design has been praised since they converted to the single from grill. If you found some negative reviews on Audi's current design language I'd love to read them, this is breaking news to me! :eusa_thin

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
