The front view and the back view looks fantastic. The shape of the rear lights make the car look wider than it is. The front 3/4 view is ok, the curvy wavy waistline still haven't grown on me yet.

The car is photogenic at all. I think the front looks a bit squat and cramped. It might look better in real life though.

This car does follow the design rule that the overall height is no greater than twice the diameter measurement of the wheels ....but somehow the wheels look too small to me. What do you guys think?

I felt the same way about the proportions of VW Passat .....but when I saw it IRL, it looked fine. It is funny how things can look different in photographs.

i think its because he used a wide angle lens. it tends to distort the image when used really closely to the subject.

i think it has something to do with the curved outlines above the wheel wells. if audi had pursued more angular shapes like...say a wedge like mercedes did then it would probably look a bit more sporty. i'd really like to see this car irl.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
