WOW... I'm in love.. Audi A3 FTW!

So when will we see the next-gen Audi A3 debut? Will it be a 2010 model?

The facelift came two years ago, so a face lift should be coming the in the nearest two years.

After announcing that they want to double the company’s line up by 2015, Audi has start working on making this dream come true. The first news was the Audi A3 Convertible that will be unveiled in 2008. The next news about the A3 is its replacement that will debut in 2010.
According to Auto Motor Und Sport the 2010 A3 will be offered in three versions: coupe, 3-door hatchback and a convertible. It will feature a dynamic and aggressive design. One thing that is sure about this future model is that it will feature the same LED headlamps, taillights and side-view mirrors that Audi used in the R8 (and that will be used in all the future models).

A brand new generation of Audi’s premium compact, the A3 will be offered at the end of 2010. This car is intended to become the most attractive vehicle in the segment and will be offered in at least three different body types.
The first new A3 to go in production will be a 3-door sports hatch with a very dynamic line and an ascendant profile. The front will be even more dynamic than it currently is, and the rear will offer an inclined window. The other two will be a 5-door sedan and a convertible.
</STRONG>LEDs will be included in the front lights for daytime use, in the side mirrors and also in the rear as braking lights. The lateral protection strips will be eliminated for a cleaner design. The wheelbase will be slightly increased and the car will also be widened.
</STRONG>New petrol FSI and diesel TDI engines will be offered matched with brand-new gearboxes including a 7-gears dual clutch DSG transmission. A future S3 top model equipped with a turbo engine is expected to offer up to 300 bhp. Also not confirmed, an RS3 might also be possible.
</STRONG>Inside information points that the next generation A3 will also offer hybrid propulsion, test mules from Audi and Volksvagen being currently in tests. The development of the hybrid models is less likely to be ready until 2010; therefore they will not be available at the initial launch of the A3. But they are expected to represent a key element in the popularity of the future model, offering the Audi performance with a low fuel consumption and significantly reduced pollution.

At the end of 2010?? That's pretty far away, the car was facelifted 2 years ago.

so this is the handicaped version of the "normal" A3 ? The PS is awful

So are all these magazines just going to photoshop the A5 on to every existing model and call it the the new one?

Give me a f'n break.

If someone wants to make a rendering of the next A3 then he should start with the Cross Coupe concept front part (including lights) and not A5.
