Re: New 997 GT2 (Spy shots and info)

^^
Your welcome, now that all the info about the car is on the plate an official announcement can't be car away, at least that's what I hope:D. Porsche has slow played us with the GT2.
What I'm waiting for now is 0-200km/h times. I'm a bit disappointed that the PDK system hasn't been finished in time for GT2. Even without it, this car is going to kick ass and hopefully breaking new records on the ring. :)

Re: New 997 GT2 (Spy shots and info)

Wow I just noticed that the weight(without driver, luggage and fuel) is 1443.2 kg. That 's pretty damn light, this beast is going to be flying on all tracks.

Re: New 997 GT2 (Spy shots and info)

Thanks for the brochure Luw, this thing looks mean in black!

Loving those figures, 530bhp, 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, 204mph top speed. If the GT3 is anything to go by, this is going to be a beast, nothing will beat it!

Gulp! Porsche doesn't fool me though, this so called "leak" was likely helped along! I can see it now, the Corvette Blue Devil/SS/Z07 or whatever they're going to call it, vs 911 GT2, Gallardo S, and the F430 CS. You've never seen such a battle brewing.

Nice but I prefer the exterior on GT3. I want a GT3 with GT2 engine :)

Blue devil, where are you? :D

Isn't that basically what the GT2 is? Or do you view it as a 2WD 911 Turbo with more power? I think its closer to the GT3 myself.

M

GT2 is like GT3 but with more powerful engine. I meant the GT3 bodykit look better than the GT2 but I want the GT2 engine in my GT3 :)

Right on!!!:eusa_danc:banana::eusa_danc

That's what i've been waiting for! :bowdown:

Respect required? You bet you're getting it from me! :bowdown: Daaayyyuuuum!!!

Stradale? Superleggera? Move the f on! This is the deal!:eusa_clap

Thanks, Luw! Thanks a million, man! :usa7uh:
:t-cheers:

This is the moment every hardcore car fan was waiting for(including me of course:D)! There are no words to describe that beast! It's just magnificent from every aspect. RESPECT!:bowdown::bowdown:

For us metrically minded: that's 395 kW and 685 Nm. In a little itty bitty 911...
[That's not dayuumm Artist, that's hot diggedy dawg dayuumn! ;) :D]
... in a car that weighs 1440 kg. That's 569 kW per ton. Hmph - not too shabby from just six pots and two blowers eh lads?

I'd love to see the geared speeds for each one of those six ratios...

^damn didnt even notice that it had THAT much torque..
this car will fly.. maybe off the track with the wrong driver....:D
but it will fly..haha

Uhh...speechless..uhh... MONSTEEER !!!!! :D:bowdown::D:bowdown::D
530-biturbo-hp, 328 kph... God...

Nürburgring? Hmmm... I think it will be around 7.40 min :cool::D
