M3/M4 New BMW M3 Chop!

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

It's been a long time since I've done my last impression. Time for a new one:D

I know it looks like Huckfeldt's chop -design wise. There are reasons for that:
1. The History has taught us that Autobild are 90% right with their chops.
2. EniLab said once that the M3 would indeed look like Huckfeldt's chop.
3. The newest spy shots proof that it will look like this.

There is actually no point of wasting my time on it. I just wanted to do an impression after a long pause:D

Enjoy:t-cheers:

Thanks! :usa7uh:

I'm sure this is 99% accurate

Only side "M" gills, M side mirrors, maybe even more pronounced side sills, and a bulge between the creases on the hood missing.

I'm sure the side & front will look amazing. :icondrool

IMO the rear bumper design is the biggest concern.

Excellent! Thats probably the most accurate chop we'll see before Paris. However we can probably expect a wider track as well and maybe (if BMW chooses to surprise us) we'll see a carbon fiber roof on the coupe, but I doubt it. Also all things Eni said....
Thanks hu§eindesign!!

Thanx for the comments guys:)
I have made the car wider that the regular coupé. I hardly think it will be any wider than this.
And Matt, if you look closer you'll see that I made the roof black:)

Oh yea, you did! So you agree with me that they might use CF for the roof on the coupe?

There will be a CF roof on M3.
But not standard - either an option, or later a standard on M3 CSL.

Well I hope they will give it a CF roof. I actually can't see why they wouldn't do that. Any info about that Tine?

bum-man, No but I have a feeling that it's coming soon:D and since Huckfeldt didn't get the rear that right, I think I'll have some space to do a version that may be more accurate than his. That would feel good:D

hu§eindesign, I have missed your wonderful CGIs!! I hope you can grace with your presence more often. I remember seeing you all the time at the old GCF forum.

another gr8 one hussein..
it looks elegant and aggresive..i wouldnt mind if it ended up like this:D..
thnx for the PS:D

Not quite as good as this interpretation though :D
BTW: the propor term is Bitchin'.

Amazing chop there hussein, if it looks anything like that, and Tine says it will, it's going to be an awesome car! So is it going to be unveiled at Paris, or are we only going to see an M3 concept?

concept i guess.. if we are lucky the sedan maybe...

Great looking chop although I feel that the M bumper isn't dominating enough.

Yup you do deserve Karma! Karma given!

Hussein good job on the chop. For some reason I am getting this very primative/barbaric/savage feeling when looking at this M3 chop. hmmm...

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
