Could be. Like I told you before: my sources told me way ago CSL would come with standard CF roof & composite materials trunk cover (with license plate placed in bumper). Perhaps BMW will show CSL as a Concept.

While production version of standard M3 will come with no standard CF roof, license plate on trunk cover, different rear bumper with different diffusor.

Scott, it's great to have some insider info from you and to have you active on some of the boards...However, this "marketing only" crap is definitely getting old. No offense, just IMO. As we say there is simply "no meat on these bones" and we are enthusiasts. We care about marketing and respect it, but it is light years behind the performance and details aspects which we want to know about.

In defence of Scott, he has his own obligations to his job. Many jobs have an NDA which prevents them from sharing such information, or risk having legal action taken against them and their livelihood damaged.

I for one don't want Scott to loose his job, simply because we want him to give out sensitive information.

Its a case of take it or leave it. Its better than nothing. If you would rather nothing, then don't read it. Simple as that.

I used to find the teasing manner of Scott's little tidbits frustrating as well. They no longer bother me because I understand Scott must protect his job. I do not expect anyone to breach confidentiality agreements, let alone endanger their livelihood, for unnamed/faceless others on message boards.

Look guys I was not insulting Scott nor anyone else. And like I said I appreciate his presence as well. At the same time he doesn't need droves of personal defenders does he? Clearly I was not saying I expect nor feel entitled to any information that would place anyones career at risk. That would simply be absurd. I just feel his comments have gone a bit overboard (only recently) on the fluff vs. content continuum.

After the ww221 S-class the E92 M3 must be the second most dicussed car prior to launch here on GCZ. To bad we have to wait until autumn for the automotive magazines to get their hands on it for a proper test.
BTW has the production of the E46 M3 ended?
