Great post Wimmer :usa7uh:

Glad to see Toyota's 3.5 litre V6 on the list, the 5.7 "HEMI" V8 might have pushrods but take it from me, it's a great engine. BMW's engine's, no surprise..

No Mercedes engine's..

Edit: Opps, i see the E320 Bluetec

The 3.0 V6 CDI might be classified as a DCX product, but it was developed by Mercedes and is used throughout the DCX empire. :usa7uh:

No problem. :t-cheers:

Ths part is even worse:

Ford Motor Co. Duratec 35 3.5L DOHC V-6 (Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX)
Ford Motor Co. 4.6L SOHC V-8 (Mustang GT/Mustang Shelby GT)
Mazda Motor Corp. 2.3L DISI turbocharged DOHC I-4 (Mazdaspeed3)
Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. 3.5L DOHC V-6 (Infiniti G35)
Toyota Motor Corp. 3.5L DOHC V-6 (Lexus IS 350)

I wonder how much advertising Toyota, Honda and Ford have in Wards site.

From the article:
Each engine must be available in a regular-production, U.S.-specification model on sale no later than the first quarter of 2007 in a vehicle priced no more than $54,000, a price cap indexed to the average cost of a new vehicle.
That's why the BMW V10 or Audi RS4 engine isn't there.

hmm, very unexpended engines. But i hope the either the 335's engine of the Audi one will get the award. I can't see how a Ford or Nissan engine can win over a german one...

Can you tell me more about the 5.7 HEMI V8? I know they are distinctively different in the sense that their cylinders are spherical, allowing better combustion. Are there any more benefits and does the capacity need to be so huge? :t-cheers:
