Now the Autobild pics look great for the C-class. Suits real well. The spy pics looks like a body of a Dodge Charger.

It also looks really really long and big.... odd... :eusa_snoo

Damn look at that tanker buster!

Very nice photoshop

I spotted this car in Paramus, near MB's Montvaile HQ about 3 months ago, and got a spy shot, albeit it was not a good pciture at all, as the car was traveling 40 mph in the opposite direction.

Although I have seen those PS before, they look good, I hope the C will look like that!

I like this car a lot, hopefully they'll keep chrome exterior trim to a minimum to give it a more sporty feel/look. I was looking into a C55 but the interior was disgusting, the interior of the W221 gives me hope they they'll get it right w/ the W204. :usa7uh:

Do you guys think Mercedes is going to go straight for the 3-series with this C-Class or keep to their luxury bias with 8.5/10ths of the BMW's driver appeal? I really hope the C-class finally manages to be the superior vehicle overall.

This car is a real opportunity to confirm the S-class's message: "Were back in form!"

So what's the latest news on this one vivaki?

This car will for sure give the 3 a real fight, i think the engineers at MB know the 3 has had it's run as the king of behind the wheel excitement for all too long, and we all know this. I'd expect the next C to have all the right bits to make it a true drivers car, if you take the steering out of the C55 and refine it even more it will be spot on w/ a 3, that's how good it is.

Maybe the C will manage to outsport the 3, while at the same time maintaining Benz trademark comfort? :t-hands: lol I doubt it. But they do have the chance of developing a car with an excellent ride/handling compromise, like the SLK, which in many tests has trumped the z4 for this very reason. Most of the dynamic ability of the BMW, with a fair dose of extra comfort and refinement.

Well regardless, its only a year away before we see what they come up with. I'm sure they are gunning for nothing less than the class benchmark as an overall package.

Why doubt? ANYTHING is possible. Times change all the time in the automotive industry, without doubt competitors get closer and closer to their rivals, and sometimes rivals/comapnies do role reversals... so really, who knows? It's anyones game.

The perfect car that MB has with perfect handling (more than enough) and amazing comfort is the CLS, they just have to do something like that. Thats the ultimed car...
