Thanks Wolfgang for the vid. I'm sure the W205 will have diesel as an option. By introducing the diesel GLK in 2013 , MB wants to see how the customers react to diesel . So far the diesel introduction in the ML, E class does have big impact in their sale. The problems are the price and also diesel fuel price. They should price diesel the same or less than gasoline price in order to attract customers. I would like to try diesel as my next car. If the W205 diesel does not show up soon ( a year or so) then I would look into the 3er bimmer .Looks like MBUSA plans a GLK 4 pot diesel? Haven't yet seen confirmed C diesel news.
GLK250 BlueTEC 4MATIC (Q1 2013): Debut of diesel powertrain in this model line (first in segment) with 2.1-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine (190 hp, 369 lb-ft) mated to all-wheeldrive powertrain and 19" 5-triple-spoke wheels
They also put up a vid explaining AGILITY Control.

O.K. Let's be clear about this. Suppose the W205 is on sale in N.A by August of 2013 as 2014 MY, that means MB will have to bring W205 from Germany and/or South Africa to N.A before the U.S made W205 will be ready by June 2014. Is that right? That also means anyone who wants to buy the made in Germany W205 would have to buy it as soon as it is available , right?Building the W205 in the USA to start in 2014.

Is this the schedule for N.A debut Mr. Mercedes ? If so, I think the first batch of W205 will come to the U.S from Germany for at least 4 to 6 months. Then , the production from the Alabama plant will take over. Don't forget that Nissan will provide engines for the U.S production. I expect the W205 will get off the assembly line by summer of 2014.Is the W204 really expected that soon? If so the next 12-18 months for Mercedes will be a blockbuster!
Facelift E-Class early 2013.
New CLA early to mid 2013
New S-Class mid 2013
New C-Class later 2013
The next C is due in 2014, for the 2015 model year in the U.S. Why do we keep going over and over this here? MBUSA has stated this already.

If so, it is too long. The BMW 3er will eat their lunch. I think MB may intrdoduce the new hybrid system for W205 at the debut time ( late 2014 ?).Merc1 is correct on the dates.
