You guys need to watch the video again, you will notice the Enzo lagging behind not with throttle but with every shift of it`s F1 type transmission!

If I`m not mistaken I think this SLK55 is eqipped with modified G7, Am I correct or not.

I believe the owner of this SLK55 also owns an E55 with an SLR engine!
Now could we be in for another race! Enzo vs. E55!

yeah gearbox is the 7G modified..
and he owns the SLR engined E55 to.. now he is not in dubai anymore.. but i think he will make another video when he goes back.. he will send it to me..and ile give it to you.. hhehe

That is one damn fast transmission!! This is proof that an F1 type tranny suffers from torque gaps that can affect speed times. We should see these same shift patterns on the E63!!

This is a race we will only see one time Next up SLK55 vs E55 both with SLR engines. Poor E55 it will be crushed by the little SLK55
If this was a race from 300km/h the Enzo would win due of better aerodynamics but below 300km/h the SLK55 is faster. Im curious, is a modified SLR engine or is it stock?

Well its almost stock i guess.. besides open exhaust , engine managment and better cooling..

no man..no time ..its not been clocked..but lets say its faster than the enzo...haha

And about the shifting..he says that its superfast.. and that the enzo doesent really shift gears that fast..

Unbelieveable!!!! Then I thought about it and the SLK55 is actually lighter than the SLR so this makes sense plus the 7G trans. I wish we could get some official numbers on this SLK.
