On the fence regarding the black plastic trim surrounding the grille, but the faux four-eyed headlight units looks unseemly.

I am probably in the minority regarding look of the non-HypeLight Screen dash, I find it preferable.

There is something seriously wrong with the bonnet shutline as well. Why does it not reach all the way down to the grille?
Correct and no, it's not just the render, the spy photo of the actual item shows the same.
I don't think that detail in particular looks bad

Is there gonna be a V8 powered E63 W214? I don't know, but the wagon Touring is secured.

Mercedes just killed the C300 wagon, the C43 wagon, the E53 wagon and the E63 wagon for the MY2022 in Canada leaving only the E450 All Terrain. I really wonder if the S214 will make it here.

Originally T stands for touristik und transport.

Is this the great grandpa of the upcoming T-model electric vehicle in 2029?

1982 W123 T-model BEV:

*100km battery range
*0 liters boot space, all consumed by batteries
*30km 2-Cylinder range extender motor
*41HP power output
*Top Speed 80km/h

It was an interesting concept at that time. Again a showcase of how unsuitable BEV are. Mercedes-Benz realised that, so needless to say, it didn’t get a follow up, until now.

If they get the front right, this is going to be one of the best looking Benz’s. According to Markus Jordan of MB passion blog, there will be no V8 available. AMG E63 is getting a modified I6.

Its certainly turning out to be a looker so far, but hoping the details for the headlight/grill and tail lights are not too much of a copy of the S-class and C-class

Don't worry, they won't be. The front will be styled to resemble the EQE with black plastic inserts, not the C-class or S-class.

Craziness. I’ll just wait until they show the car. You all are all over the place now.

Yes, Sir, I Agree. We are VERY nervous.
But, that's a good sign, because on the other side, nobody want's to see or evaluate these awful and boring EQ variants ;)

Mercedes AMG could probably spawn a real handbuilt AMG 3.0liter V6 from the M177 V8.
The new C63s could have easily benefitted from it instead of the heavy overly complex P3 system. The next-generation W214 E63 could also benefit.

Remove the two pistons in front of the M177.
New Camshafts and crankcase with twin F1 electric roller-baring turbos (not featured on the M177) and a modified CPU.
An improved nano-slide tech in the cylinder walls would give it an enormous psi rating like the M139 4-banger. Give it a proper sound rack, It would be a real AMG V6 with hp north of 650.
