My New 2006 S430 (W220)

I purchased this on Friday. A driver of MB since mid 70's but my first S Class Sedan.

Alabaster White with Stone/Burl Walnut Interior. I have included below a URL for additional pictures. Better and more will follow later.

Very nice car you've got there. Amg-kit and rims is awsome and make sure to keep that white body clean and shiny ;).

I've seen a couple '06 S350's and I think I'll consider one, just not yet. I live in the city and I'm not in need of a car right now.
I'm looking forward to reading your posts on your experience with the S430 :)

So the E320 Sport is gone? I thought it was really good looking E

Yup...the E320 is gone and someone is going to get an very nice car.

I looked at the S350 but wanted some of the goodies on the 430/500. The 350 is still 5 speed and many things are extra. The 430 had the 7 speed and AMG package as a no cost option. I thought about the new 2007 but moneywise the W220 was a much better picture for me.

it's beautiful, but wasn't health the issue on why you didnt get the R class. Did it make you sick? :confused: J/K. Seriously why the S over the R.


PS. I love white and the car is magnificance! Great wheels, and excellent choice!

Wow man. I love this shot. This is the first time I have seen a white S-class with AMG-kit. What a great pick, now you will be a big stunner on the streets :usa7uh:. Congrats one again. :)

It looks great in Alabaster White with AMG kit.
Congratulations and Welcome aboard!!

BTW, The S350 is the short wheel base (about 10cm shorter and a smaller rear door, yep they are back, except they are not adding the "L" to the rest of the cars like they used to ;) ).

You are right but I became less enthusiastic for the R, not because of anything wrong but it just didn't do it for me after I drove it. The dealer called and said he had a nice S430 and I decided to go look...end of story

Ps. It's hard to order blindly. Good thing it worked ot for the better for you. :usa7uh:

Thanks...I think the white and the AMG package make this S430 a really nice looking ride. I much prefer this over waiting for the new W221 S450 (US will not get the S350) to arrive in June or so. The new S is beautiful but I still have to see those fender flares in person...I hope they are not a "fad." I think the lines of the W220 are closer to the classic look of the MB through the years.
