^Dry and wet lap times are interesting, what's the difference in tyre choice between these two, does the F10 have more aggressive dry weather rubber?

So sad people can't get fined for stalking others on the internet.
You have a sick obsession with me. Not healthy. But I don't mind, it's funny :)

Martin asked where one could find an M5 and be able to do 2,000 clicks (2,000km). You responded with BMW on Demand, and that is not really a viable option due to the mileage excess charges. Sure enough, South didn't get it from BMW on Demand. When you stop posting nonsense Klier, I'll stop "stalking" you.

Are the police actually using these or is it just for show?

From the interior's picture I would say it will be used by the Polizei since we can see some modification to hold device used by law enforcement. Also why they did get a US-spec M5 with 6MT ?

And mph speedo

Guys which color is the best from those massive deliveries ? I find all of them are desirable. First time I like Valencia orange.

BMW as big a supplier in the POLIZEI business as Mercedes-Benz is in the Taxi business.

Actaully there are Mercedes cop cars as well :)

Indeed, goes for all the German manufacturers actually. Yet BMW supplies more to the POLIZEI in more German provinces/states than any other manufacturer.

Monte Carlo Blue looked expectedly good but Sakhir Orange (it's different from Valencia Orange) was the biggest surprise personally. It looked genuinely good.

About the police car, it's just a show car and not meant for actual use by the police. Hence the US specification.

Best regards,
south

What about this color combination: Frozen Monte Carlo Blue and Sahkir Orange full leather

Why does the F10 M5 16 mph have a 16 mph slower top speed than the E60 ( 189 mph vs. 205 mph ) ? Less aerodynamically efficient? Because its heavier? Anyway, it looks EPIC in Frozen White^^(y)

Not a chance would the E60 M5 do 205mph, so I wouldn't trust that figure at all.

Love those rims on that Frozen White F10 M5! My favourite shape rims on any M car...

i think it was confirmed that unlimited e60 m5 did 205mph

I don't believe the E60 M5 will do 205mph, or even anywhere close. The fact that even the F10 M5 cannot do 205mph suggests that is the case.

The major factors in top speed are horsepower, drag coefficient, and gearing. Weight becomes less important. When you look at the cars that don't do 205mph, do you seriously think it's logical that the E60 M5 could make it?

R8 V10 plus (197mph)
SLS AMG (197mph)
Porsche Turbo S (196mph)
Ferrari 458 Italia (202mph)
Lamborghini Gallardo 570-4 Superleggara (202mph)

When you see the cars that CAN'T do 205mph, do you seriously think the E60 M5 can?!!

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
