Huayra [Official] Pagani Huayra


The Pagani Huayra, a successor to the Pagani Zonda, was initially revealed online in a press release on 25 January 2011. It was officially revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car is named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata. The engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo M158 V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG producing 544 kW (740 PS; 730 hp) and 1,000 N⋅m (740 lb⋅ft) of torque. The Huayra's body is made from carbotanium; a lightweight composition of carbon fibre and titanium. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with its predecessor. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h). Only 100 units of the Huayra were produced, each costing £1,000,000 (1.05 million US$) without options.
Love that combo..all i need is Zonda's gold rims and i have my tricolore Egyptian Huayra..:D

My sources in both Germany and Italy have been doing alot of digging into the future of Pagani and have uncovered alot of majors news about the partnership between Mercedes-AMG and Pagani. My sources have uncovered that Mercedes-AMG do not wish to challange the Bugatti veyron as its not in line with there companies plans at this point, but Horacio Pagani is looking forward to the Huayra F that will produce as much as (900 PS)890 BHP thanks to the bespoke AMG-Pagani developed 6.0 liter twin-turbo V-12. My sources say that this model will be a true hypercar targeting the Bugatti topspeed and numbers all the way around. My sources sya this mdoel will use lighter gauge titanium in its carbon-titanium body work that will shed some 200 lbs, add to this a retuned and higher PSi version of the AMG-Pagani V-12 that will make this car a even more extreme performer. My sources say that this is also the reason why Pagani built the Huayra with so much active aerodynamics which improve this cars handling in everyway and will make this light weight hypercar worthy of the title. My sources also stated to me that the recently spotted Pagani Huayra prototype thats been spotted in Colordao testing was not not testing a alternative dricetrain, but a new AMG transmission that the company has been co-developing with Pagani to improve fuel economy for this model, My sources say the Xtrac transmission is a great starting point, but Pagani is looking for improve performence for the F version of the Huayra and have instead linked with AMG on there planned 8 speed MCT KERS style system that will boost performence, response and fuel economy as the company heads into a new era of the supercar race. Beyond this Pagani has started studying early plans for a second model, this model would be more of a convential sportscar, that will be aimed at the Lamborghini Cabrera, Ferrari 458 Scuderia, McLaren MP4-12C. Meaning it will make sure of as much as 600 BHP. My sources suggest a twin-turbo direct injected bespoke version of a new AMG V-8 that will produce this number and push beyodn it if needed. My sources say that Horacio pagani is looking to the future and wants a secnd mdoel on line within the next 2-4 years. This mdoel is slated to use a carbon-aluminum tub add to a pair aluminum spaceframes with a mid-engine layout with carbon-aluminum body work( pagani has already perfected this method and wants to make the body strong but cheaper to produce compared ot the Huayra. My sources say that this models aluminum spaceframe would likely be a development by AMG in connection with the SLR AMG supercar. My sources sya that Pagani is truly looking forard to jointly devleoping this models chassis with AMG which will in return have Pagani produce the carbon fiber tub for the SLR, which my sources now say will be a modular set-up to help cut development time with crash test, as well as cost thanks to jointly developing this chassis together with a partner such as Pagani. My sources say this model will featur avery unique style and sowcase the company heritage and direction it wishes to head in for the future of Pagani!
