Huayra [Official] Pagani Huayra

The Pagani Huayra, a successor to the Pagani Zonda, was initially revealed online in a press release on 25 January 2011. It was officially revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car is named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata. The engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo M158 V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG producing 544 kW (740 PS; 730 hp) and 1,000 N⋅m (740 lb⋅ft) of torque. The Huayra's body is made from carbotanium; a lightweight composition of carbon fibre and titanium. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with its predecessor. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h). Only 100 units of the Huayra were produced, each costing £1,000,000 (1.05 million US$) without options.
Sports cars in 2011 have reached their peak, a peak we haven't seen in some time IMO. Ferrari, Mercedes, Lexus, Pagani, Lamborghini, Mclaren all have new sports cars to the market in 2010 or 2011. This is really something. This is to be celebrated.

Just as I had thought earlier, the center is glossy with the rest of car having a matt finish ;)

btw, is the Huayra being produced at their all new factory? (Is it even ready?). Would love to see what their new premises look like.

^Its nearly done..they will move in during this year..
The Huayra will probably start production in the old factory..

Here is the CGI of the Factory from Pagani Automobili..

Damn good news..This dude who ordered the Zonda HH ( 31 year old lucky guy:)) posted this over at lambopower.com

After seeing the car in person in Milan, I've decided to drop my LP700 order, put two Lambos on the block, and somehow scrape enough dough together to get the Huayra. It's simply that fcuking awesome. The whole Pagani experience is just on another level and it's been such a wonderful time getting to become friends with the entire team.

I'll post some pictures as we move through the design process. The idea is either go with the launch color combo (loved it), go Zonda HH on it, go orange, or go all carbon.

As Zonda owners have priority on delivery, I hope to have the car before the end of the year.

So. Anyone interested in a couple of lambos :)? I have a green '10 LP560 w/ 600 miles (loaded, 280k msrp) and an orange '08 640 roadster w/ 5K miles (carbon interior, nav, camera, carbon brakes, 420k msrp, I believe) on the block. I'll have them properly listed soon, but just in case anyone is looking, I'll throw it out there.

I still strongly believe in the LP700, but they'll be building plenty of those to pick one up in 1 or 2 years. The order book for the Huayra is already 2+ yrs and as soon as they get the official US certification plus the Geneva showing, it'll probably be pushing 3 or more. So I had to get in while I could.

I'll hold on to the white 560, though, so don't strip me of my lambo tags yet!

He also claims that pagani will bring a red/carbon customer huayra to Geneva:D

stylingwise the Lambo eats the Huayra in my opinion in and out.

And looking that its only slightly slower and slightly less powerfull having in mind it is 3 times cheaper makes it also the better deal I think.

^^
That's the Reventon interior. So far I'm pleased with the images that have surfaced but those huge side scoops make the car look like an overgrown Gallardo.

All these new sports cars, what are the rich to do when it comes making a decision on which one?
