With airmatic, abc/mbc no problem

i had 19” on my S600 with ABC - no problem at all

i had 20” on my CL600 with ABC - no problem at all

i had 22” on my R-Class D6 Brabus with airmatic - no problem at all

No problem for you maybe, if you are accepting a harch ride for big wheels. For me comfort is more important than looks. But this is of course a personal choice.

What the hell is wrong with you?

What I see is just an ungly car and some cheerleaders trying their best to put a suit to the pig in order to give the impression it looks fancy.

One just need to look at the Taycan, or the A6 e-tron to see why this EQS is just a flawed design.

Alas, it will be in 1 1/2-to-2 years' time before we will witness the official unveiling of the production A6 eTron. And the "Landjet" project, the direct EQS competitor, will not be revealed in production form until sometime during the latter half of 2024 (although we may see a relatively accurate concept at the IAA in September).

I wouldn't consider the Taycan an EQS competitor per se. When Porsches' large "Landjet" derivative will be presented as well as exactly what sort of car it will be remains a secret.

In the foreseeable future, it will be BMWs' i7 that will clash swords with the EQS. And that's going to be very interesting methinks.

Taycan/E-Tron ( same platform ) are sport EVs. EQS it's a luxury EV

Have you ever had a chance to stay in the rear of a Taycan? It's like staying in a A class . That much space.

I'm not defending EQS. It's a mixed bag for me and many others , also .

The Taycan/ eTron GT. The A6 etron (what SKY is referring to) is underpinned by the all-new PPE platform. Taycan and eTron GT are "J1"-platformed cars.

I have. And I think that the Taycan actually offers more space than the M-B A-Class/CLA. I felt comfortably accomodated.

What a weird car this EQS is.

There is a piece of animated footage on the www.mercedes-benz.de website that shows an EQS tumbling around in space, showing the car from all angles. The anthracite coloured EQS featured is sporting those AMG 22" rims. And I must say...from some angles this car looks genuinely good.

How utterly odd is that ? Just when I had decided that I couldn't possibly appreciate the looks of the EQS at all, regardless of from which angle. Now I find myself seriously wobbling on the fence. This is some weird and wild shit, man.

It actually does look better in those pics. Gives you a better sense of size too- quite a big vehicle. It’s helpful that you can’t see all of the window segments.

These pictures carefully hide the 'questionable parts'. But I am holding my breath here, because I don't want to upset @kiki voinea any further.
But in all honesty, this looks like the car equivalent of a hot Insta babe pic vs her real life morning wake up shot.

Low light conditions in the pics are accentuating things like the "shoulder" area and lower side "crease" (I don't know a better term sorry), giving the car more apparent character.
