C-Class (W206) [Official] Mercedes Benz C-Class (W206)

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206) is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which is produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG since 2021. It replaces the W205 C-Class which had been produced since 2014. The fifth-generation C-Class is available in sedan (W206), station wagon/estate (S206), and long-wheelbase sedan (V206) body styles. The W206 C-Class is based on the Mercedes MRA II rear-wheel drive modular platform also used by the W223 S-Class.

The center display looks weird, non-symmetric... not sure if it's an optical illusion due to that big (start?) button to its left...

So my views

I think it’s a lovely looking car I definitely prefer the AMG spec love the magno grey and blue..

If I needed I would but the estate in blue looks stunning maybe @Monster next car lol.

I think the the design is very nice exterior yes they have been a bit more conservative I would say but the AMG one looks aggressive. I love the side view very clean and beautiful no unnecessary lines and creases..Rear is better then I expected.

Interior I am really pleased looks great when we saw spy pics I thought they going to screw it up.. interior in my opinion is a few steps ahead of the rest in the market. Hoping the quality is good and not toomuch Ola cutting..

Love the new seats they look great way better then my moms C..

Yesterday I thought the interior was better looking then the S interior but today I looked at same colour interiors and the S looks more classy...

Overall this car will be a winner and I think a great Job from the W205 which was a very good car . If the ride is good they have a huge winner here.

AMG wise I expect them to loose some sales to M3 or Audi due to the 4 cylinder engine I can see some AMG hardcore guys saying screw the 4 pot.

If I needed a medium size sedan this would be my car for sure.

The fact that the same car has two grills (one hexagonal and one inverted) makes me really think which of the two is the new C class .....
It seems totally absurd to me

Yeah, I don't like how they are completely changing the shape instead of just changing the inside part.

I wonder if the Avantgarde grille would be available with the traditional Mercedes styling with the star on the hood? Not for Europe?

AMG does not want to let the cat out of the bag yet
At AMG, the P3 plug-in hybrid will appear as the C 63e 4matic + under the E Performance label (449 PS + 204 PS, attention cannot be added completely) at the beginning of 2022. Delays to spring 2022 cannot be ruled out, as the AMG GT 73e has also been postponed again and again.
AMG does not want to comment on the entry-performance model of the C-Class either. At the latest at the IAA in September one can probably expect a premiere of the C 43 AMG. It is based on the modified M254 series engine and is expected to produce 390 + 20 hp .

All-Terrain with world premiere in September 2021!

The C-Class T-Model All-Terrain will celebrate its world premiere at the IAA in Munich in September 2021 (or digitally if the IAA has to be canceled). The exact engines are not yet known here.
The off-road capability cannot keep up with that of the E-Class All-Terrain, since in the C-Class T-Model All-Terrain there is no Air Body Control air suspension (as in the entire 206 series), so the ground clearance cannot be used for impassable Terrain to be increased.
There will be planking and underride protection. On the other hand, there will be a wheel with a slightly larger tire diameter to slightly increase the ground clearance compared to the normal C-Class (approx. 2 cm). It is not yet known which engine variants are offered.

Do we know where the C will be built? Alabama I believe will no longer be an option... Also does Market Launch 2021 mean Europe?

I hope they have sense enough to NOT put the same rubber band tires on the C-Class All-Terrain like they have on the E-Class version. It absolutely defeats the purpose of such a vehicle.

Lol. Here the all terrain seems equipped quite appropriately, apart from the lack of engine variants.

As we know, it will be possible to order the car from March 30th, so by that date I think we will be able to see all the fittings, from the basic version to the more luxurious one.

Gordon Wagener says he's removing lines as part of his Sensual Purity, but I'd argue that Bruno Sacco did that better with the w202 C-class!
