Jesko [Official] Koenigsegg Jesko

The Koenigsegg Jesko is a limited production mid-engine sports car produced by the Swedish automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg. The car was introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show and was completely sold out before the show ended. Succeeding the Agera, the Jesko is named as a tribute to the company founder's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. There are two variations of the car, the "Absolut" and the "Attack".
Hmmmmmmm 🤔

That's just arbitrary +100 kg
Empty vehicle should be empty car with no fuel AFAIK, which is what Koenigsegg mean by curb weight. But this registry is not always consistent.
I know right. I'll await an independent test and weigh then. Smh.

Wouldn't be that surprising. The last Koenigsegg we have a weight for is the CCX, which was weighed at 1456kg. Koenigsegg, on the other hand, claimed it was 1180kg dry and 1280kg kerb.

which was weighed at 1456k
Do you know where that number comes from? I can't seem to find the source.

The only other CCX weight figure I know of is 1,496 kg with 45 kg of fuel and one suited up Marc Basseng. Which should be somewhere around 1,370 kg empty, no fuel.

They have 1,280 kg listed as dry weight for CCX on the website. That seems in line with the measurement from that Nordschleife test. It's just the usual +100kg dry-to-curb.

I'd still be inclined to believe the 1,420 kg number. That registry data could be wrong.
It's pretty easy to think of ways of how Jesko would gain 100 kg over CCX (electro-hydraulic motorized body panels and doors, active wing + front underbody flaps, rear wheel steer, heave springs + dampers front and rear, air injection system to pre-spool turbos).
But 200 kg seems like a stretch IMO. Especially considering the wheels, brakes and transmission are all significantly lighter on Jesko.

I assume it's from one of the German magazines. Either way, CCX-R (with the same claimed 1280kg dry weight) was weighed by Sport Auto for their 0-300-0 test and it was 1473kg.

Also, there are some contradicting figures on their website. If you go to the CCX main page, they claim 1.44kg/PS, which would be 1176kg. I also think that's what they claimed at the time, although I am not 100% sure.

Interesting. So that's about 50 kg difference between those two tested Eggs (I found scans of the whole acceleration test, BTW).

345MPH. If where quoting estimates let's do all of them.🙂

let's put them all up:

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolute = 331mph (EE calculated, also quoted by CvK)
SSC Tuatara = 345mph (EE calculated)
Hennessey Venom F5 = 310mph+ (John Hennessey estimate)

Hennessey Venom F5 is calculated and or estimated at 331- 334MPH. But I'll need to find the links.

Sport Auto 3/2006 supertest of CCR: 1418 kg.
I believe the CCR was a little lighter than the global-spec model CCX.
