My RS4 arrived today! wooo hoooo

Ok I'm lying; it's not my RS4, it belongs to the Audi Academy. It just arrived today, fresh off it's press event tour. Soon as it pulls into the shop, everything came to a standstill. Our class was in the middle of a demonstration and we all turned our heads and gawked; you'd need a mop to clean up all the drool off the floor. Even the poor saps over on the VW side had to come over and check it out, since they don't have any cars even half as cool as this! And of course the instructor just had to take it to the back of the lot and romp on it a little. After seeing this puppy in the flesh I am now even more jealous of you RS4 owners. I no longer care about the S-anything, as this car WILL be mine one day. You'll have to excuse the lackluster picture quality, there's only so much a camera phone can do. :D

What's interesting is that this car is the exact one driven by Car & Driver, and of course this isn't a US Spec judging by the starter button and metric speedometer.

yeah the car is pretty striking when you see one. The gray colour is cool but a black RS4 is basically the sh*t, your jaw will drop when you see one.

That is a bastard child. Euro-spec starter button and gauge pack, but US steering wheel. Also, the body side markers are US spec. I don't know if the Euro's had the option to choose the "US" wheel. Either of the seats could be specified in Europe. As said, it was a magazine demo car, so about anything is possible.

Speaking of bastard children, we also have a B6 A4 with the 3.2 FSI and 6 spd tiptronic.

You said judging from the specs its not US? Why do the seats look US?
The seats pictured are standard, the sport Recaros are only for Europe as far as I know.

I'll be driving one in November. I gave my local Audi dealer my adress and phone number and they will get back to me when the S tour has landed in Gothenburg. :eusa_danc :eusa_danc :eusa_danc :eusa_danc

Since I have signed up early I hope that I will get to drive it early. I was told that they will be here between 9-15th Nov. Just bare in mind that the Autoshow Miles Per hour is being held between the 10th and 12th Nov. Though I hope that there won't be any damn snow on the roads becasue I really would like to test quattro's limits. :D

What's the Audi Academy? You study there?
It's an Audi-specific 16 week crash course. Audi/VW have several training centers here in the US with Exton, PA being the one where I attend.
