My first Ferrari - The 458 Italia

When I first drove this car I knew I will own own. Now I own one but I'm not too fond of the looks and to be honest I would prefer a blue one. Don't like the 458 in red too much.
The LP560-4 is my ultimate car based on looks alone... and mine looked perfect in black.
IMO a better looking car than the 458 in red.
The interior of the 458 has some Fiat bits in it which is OK for most people but I'd still prefer Audi bits...
You would ask: Why would someone buy a car that's not to his taste looks wise?... Reasonable question I'd say
...now start THAT ENGINE!!!!

Review of my four hour drive will come when I get more spare time.

Interior is way better than what I remember from my first drive a few years back.
Black suits it. The seats are phenomenal! Great looking and provide perfect support.
I love the steering wheel. Overall the interior is splendid in this particular color. It looks far from cheap.

Congratulations. Wonderful car, and the best "entry level" super car there is (I view the 458, Huracan, and 650S as all equivalent in terms of "status" in the supercar world......anything below them are NOT supercars).

We all know form many journalist reviews about how awesome the car is to drive.

But here is a different question: do you feel self conscious when driving this car on the road?.............I ask because I feel self conscious when driving my new GT3......it's loud, red, and people look.......
I presume people would stare even more at any Ferrari.

Congrats,458 Italia was also the only supercar I had a driving exprience and since then I knew I was not a super car kind of person,prefer your S65 over this any day.

How would you compare it to the Gallardo?

Drive wise... it puts the Gallardo to shame. It's on a different planet in terms of anything and mostly driver enjoyment.
Looks wise I prefer the LP560-4 exterior(especially in black). I'm already falling in love with the 458's interior tho.
I'll try to sum some driving impressions up to form a review and post it as soon as I can.

I've only driven the car for 4 hours but of course almost everyone looks at it.
It was the same with the Gallardo. I don't like drawing to much attention to me but people enjoy the car and I'm OK with it.
I kind of feel self conscious. It's inevitable I guess.

Nothing planned as of yet but there are many to come. Don't have the time yet
