Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION

Well i am late to see these pics.

The front wow wow wow..if the e turns out like this or the clk it will be hot obviously the e grill will be different and the bumpers will be different ,how about a e class with avantagrde this type grill i wont mind...

The side looks very nice except the back end off the roof but i supoose thats how a station wagon coupe will end up i really like the rear wheel arch and the rest off the side profile..

The rear is not bad just i dont like those lights the rest is fine...

Would like to see the interior

Its a concept car and i dont agree with cent and mr mercedes regarding the mazda........

wow i really like it !!! makes me even more anxious to see the next generation E class sedan and coupe

Looks great!! OMG!! It is so awesome looking!! Stunning design elements there…

OK, I'm going nuts.

Can somebody please help me here -- see the line running across the top of the rear lights -- I've seen this before (maybe a concept sketch or something) -- can someone identify where I have seen that previously? Thanks :)

Truthfully I'm bored here. I want to see either the actual CLK or E-Class. NO more of these concepts that aren't going to make it to production, not that I'd want this thing to go into production anyway. They could have just shown the real CLK or E-Class coupe or whatever its going to be called. Ok RaNt OvEr.

Gotta be on some Chrysler or Cadillac Rob.

I know Marcus and Mohammed lose control of their bodily functions every time I compare a Merc with a Chrysler, but the rear reminds me slightly of the Nassau Concept ....but it is interesting.

Anyone notice how similar the wheels look! lol.

I think the front will grow on me, it looks quite agressive, not something you would expect from MB, but the rest of the car.... What where they thinking???????? I know most of you won't agree with me, but I really do NOT like ths thing. It is completely out of proportion. It's too short to look like a good break and it's way to edgy to look like a coupé (side line). If this is what the MB PAS will look like, ok let them go ahead, it's only good news for other brands IMO.

the internal design of the taillamps is outstanding. MB should implement this right away, but they won't.

This car is very much underpinned by the new CLK. You can see by the hood line and the headlights. Although the new E and CLK will have similar design language, the CLK shows the similar raise in the hood lines that run from the edge of the grill back to the a-pillar. You can see this in some of the latest spy pics, and is very similar to the R-class hood. The E will not be as pronounced, and will feature a flatter hood.

Also the new CLK shows the same set back with the headlights, in that the headlamps seem to slope backwards as they move from the center of the car towards the edges, thus making the grill more pronounced point of the grill. The E will be more flat across the face. Also the CLK will feature this more pronounced reat fender arch, which is obviously more toned down in the E. Thus this feature has been kept under camo on the CLK, while it has been revealed on the E.

obviously the rake of the A pillar and the curve of the roof line is also in keeping with the CLK, while the E has a much more upright A-pillar and flat top roof.

This is more or less an exaggeration of what to expect from the next E-family. As has already been said, the CLK is being put out to pasture. So, this is glimpse at what the upcoming E-Coupe and Kombi would look like if they got smashed into one car.

In general, I think this concept looks strong. Yes, there's more than a passing resemblance to Mazda's styling vocabulary, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - especially since the two brands occupy two very different corners of the automotive spectrum.

This is to the E class what the elixir concept was to the 407.

I'm not so sure, this new concept is a clear development of the F500 from 2003 (the same year as the Peugeot concept) -- MB are obviously planning something along these lines.

MB ruined the shape of the car by giving the car high ground clearance making the car look like a two door R-class derivative. The rear end looks to heavy. Aston Martin pulled the whole sexy-wagon thing off much better.
