Make a wish.

Guys my disabled son has been nominated for a 'make a wish' experience and I was wondering which would you reckon would be best as he's undecided.

Basically the wish can be anything and I mean anything as some have had trips to the likes of the Monaco GP meeting the drivers, through the pit etc, whilst others have travelled to Florida to swim with Dolphins and everything in between.

At the moment his short list comprises of

1: Abu Dhabi GP and meet Lewis Hamilton

2: Meet Aaron Wheelz and the Nitro Cicrus team

3: High Speed passenger ride in a Bugatti Veyron

4: Zero Gravity plane ride

5: Visit Universal Studios
at Halloween.

The wee man is so excited he's by himself.

I don't know, anything of the above would be nice. Just think of something that wouldn't get him depressed after.

1. is pretty damn baller, as it will be a huge event..with pole and race..and all goodies plus LH..
2. I don't know who that dude is.
3. This is probably the worst option, it will be over to fast
4. This is pretty baller, but come to sweden and ile do it for you;)
5. Not good enough, can be arranged by you probably?

So my vote is without a doubt no 1

Why isn't this a poll?

I vote for number 1

... or my second choice would be to let him make his own mind up
... as long as it is number 1!:D

The reason I didn't put up a poll was I thought some other suggestions might be forthcoming as he's struggling with the whole idea of winning such a thing. I do agree the GP experience would be amazing as he's 14 and loves all forms of Motorsport.

I vote for 4. Must be great for a disabled kid to fly around free.

Meeting someone is not special and the rest you can do pretty easy yourself. High speed drive in a Veyron only makes sense at Nardo, for the rest your brother's (or what was it) M5 is fast enough for such a thrill.

This was one of the suggestions I mentioned to him, I think its the least likely he'll chose as he hates roller coasters and this ride is meant to make a lot of people sick.

The Abu Dhabi GP experience isn't something you're ever likely to experience again, walking the pits is the reserve of the very lucky and the famous plus there's a lot more to it according to others which have done similar.

It's the one I hope they grant him as he's been through the wars this last few months what with ops and infections.

I really agree with your post, Klier.
Zero gravity would be an amazing thrill for him.
I like the LH meet idea but really can't choose.
What does he like the most @Deckhook?

It's like taking a kid to huge toy shop and asking him to chose, at the moment the GP is his choice but he's since mentioned that he'd love to have a go at skiing. Frankly I don't care which he chooses as long as he enjoys it.

A few years ago he was granted a trip to Disney Florida but since we have done that as a family before he offered up his place to another kid which I thought was wonderful of him. I suppose he never expected this kind of thing to happen again.

You are right. These two options sound best. He'll enjoy any of them.
Indeed wonderful of him to offer his place! Doing a great job as a parent, mate! :)

You have obviously raised a sensational, caring boy. God bless him.
