Invitation to drive the SLR

Well I have either arrived or the MB computer messed up on demographics...

Received this invitation with some people to call at MBUSA and a registration # to test drive the SLR in Miami in early October. Limited to just 32 people! Would love to do it but not in Miami...maybe if it was in Las Vegas. Oh well, I guess I'll just order one without test driving it...if it has some bugs I am sure they will fix them...

I would guess about 3000 or so...about a four day drive. I drove to the east coast in May (South Carolina) and it was 2700 miles.

I could fly but why fly when you have a S550 to enjoy...

Seriously...just to drive a super MB would not be worth it to me...if it was local I would jump on it.

hehe.....I got that invitation too by email. I'm in Canada, so it's even further away for me. Not worth the money and the travel time, IMO. I don't think I'm in the right demographic either......I just have a C-class.
