This should be more thorough, like how many languags do you speak fluently. Simply because so many languages are similar, people want to be cool and actlike thay know languages that are close to thiers.

Anyways... I speak English and Russian. :D

Thai (first language) English (might as well be first language as I use it more than Thai), French (fluently, although it's been ages since I've spoken), Russian (lived there for 5 years... forgetting mighty quick) and took 2 semesters of German (Ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch :D )

Used to know Polish really well, but now it's all gone.

Well, your question should have been more precise, like 'Which languages do you use and speak?' because I understand more Slavenian languages but I usually don't speak them...

I speak and use Croatian, Italian and English; I'm learning German (and Latin, dead language).

I voted ''3 languages''.

Finnish, English, Swedish, German, Spanish and French. However, I should brush up on the last two...
I've thought of taking up Russian, or, just for the sake of finding out how easy it would be to learn a language that is related to mine, Estonian.

I voted for three. I speak Greek (native language), English (i have an ECPE) and some German (i have a Zertifikat Deutsh).

PS. Has anyone (except Yannis) heard speaking Greek? I think this language sounds really great!

Greek sounds good and I wish I knew it. I'd be happy if I could just read it. I'm being a realist though and admit to myself that by now I will not be learning any more languages.
I checked three languages: Finnish (mother tongue), English (home language for the past 31-32 years), and Afrikaans, although I don't speak it very fluently. My wife's family is Afrikaans and therefore was exposed to it a lot when I lived in SA for 12 years. Used to study German too and read and wrote it but that is so long ago now I would not admit knowing anything about it anymore. It is really interesting to find out about everyone. Quite an international crowd we have here.

Just English. I took some Spanish in high school, so I could probably get messages across to people in Spanish (looking like an idiot most likely). I can't even come close to speaking it fluently.

I have a lot of friends that can speak English and Russian because all their parents were born in Russia or former Soviet states (Ukraine, etc.).
