Cadillac Coupe Revealed In GM Patent Filing

@John Galt with which car are you comparing this new CT5? Rumors suggest it will be somewhat smaller than Mercedes E class but bigger than C class and price will also be something in between.

So are you comparing it with present C class (IMO probably one of the best interior in its class) or E class?

I remember all the hype about CT6 before it came (2-3 years before release)..it was supposed to be better than S class..And than new S class came before CT6 was released..soon after GM said that CT6 isn't S class competitor and it shouldn't be compare to S class.o_O.

I've seen comparison where CT6 lost against Genesis G90..and Volvo S90..and E class. And we are talking about top model sedan from Cadillac. I'm not sure it would compete against Lexus LS.

So what i'm saying is that i'm hoping it won't be same case with CT5..instead of winning against top sedans in its class (C class?) it will loose against Genesis G70/80, new Lexus IS ( i think that one will come in 2020) and looking at the past this might happen..again..and again.

People talk a lot. CT5 will be a truly D-class car without any but.

CT6, XT5, CTS, ATS and even the new XT4(partly) are the results of an old conception of the brand.
The most intresting will start from the CT5. An MCE CT6 will play the role of the E-class till the next gen arrives. Next gen CT6 will be a truly E class car. I have no worries about the new models. Btw, I've seen the interior of the upcoming Escalade.
It looks like this. No, I'd say it looks even better than this:

Ouch, Geely apparently jumped the gun on Cadillac’s new interior design language before they did

I spy a BMW inspired armrest...

A few days ago I came across that interior online somewhere and thought "Nice Caddy" without paying attention to the logo on the steering wheel.

That's a shame, it seemed Geely was one of the few Chinese car companies that seemed to be developing its own style and personality. Those Lynk & Co exterior designs are unique and somewhat appealing; granted, their interiors are heavily based on current Volvos, but they still had their own style.
