I just hope like crazy that BMW will have sorted this engine's reliability issues out.

The rest of the attributes such as the diff-led handling, accurate but slightly short-of-feel steering, ride quality etc, were predictable but not known.

Dr. Segler said for German media the price would be set "between 135i coupe and M3 coupe, but closer to 135i than to M3." That means the start price in Germany will be somewhere between €50,000 and €54,000 (135i coupe: €40,100; M3 sedan: €66,400; M3 coupe: €68,350). €52,150? Too much?

Around €50k is just fine, as long as you don't have to spend another €20k on options to get it in decent spec.

The new BMW 1er M Coupe will be showcased at the BMW Welt ,Munich exclusively this weekend November 20 and 21st.

The car will be showcased in it's usual apparel but will coincide with the next reveal before the official premiere.
Which will occur in December with a slight German launch before the world public Premiere at the NAIAS in Detroit this coming January.
