Starting with the X3 restyling, expected in a very short while, while the entirely new model will be coming only in 2010, it will be a bit bigger and will finally get "premium" class finishings.
The X5/E70 will debuting in Paris this autumn and it will be available at the begininning of 2007. The new version of BMW's first SUV must live up to the high expectations created by its predecessor and by the evolution of the market. There will be no aesthetic experimentation, either on the inside or the outside. The new X5 will be produced in Spartanburg (NC, USA) and its main focus will be on the american market, and it will have 7 seats like its main rivals, the Audi Q7 and the Mercedes GL. The new X5 will also get a new xDrive system that will be capable of a more flexible torque split between the front and rear axle and the left and right wheels.
