Yeah, and that has nothing to do with the fact that the S4 has AWD and more horsepower.
Also, the 335i is not 1600 kg flat. It's heavier, and Autobild has the number wrong.

Price is the clear deciding factor here because if you remove it from the equation there's only 1 point separating them. I suppose it all depends on what things you place the most importance on be that price, uniqueness, RWD balance, AWD security, whatever.

Both are great.

P.S. Considering the years the S4 is giving the fresh faced 335i I think that was a remarkable fight the Audi put up......no tail between it's legs on this test.

The 3 series F30 is a nice car. It sure is. And the 335 to.
Back in the days, the 33 would smoke anything that competed with it.
But then there is the Audi S4 B8 with the amazing 3.0T engine. This car is one of Audis best for sure.

And there is no way I would pick a 335 over the S4.

S4 all the way.

Its faster, better looking, and has AWD. 3 points that do it for me.

It really smokes the hell out of the 335 in acceleration. The faster they go, the bigger the margin get. No Beemer fanboys can come here and say "its faster because of Quattro. In higher speed, the Beemer would win easily". Not here no fannies. Here its clear. Its almost 200kg heavier, and it STILL is 1.1 seconds faster to 200km/h! that is A LOT.

You didnt get the pont, didnt you? I was mentioned what 99% of the cases, thought my soon 10 years on the forum, the Beemer fanboys ALWAYS had a
reason for an Audi being faster than a BMW in the start. It was Quattro, and then they were calm that the Beemer would eventually catch up. It was always their point. Now, particularly in this test, its not the case. And if you read my post, I said that I like the 335 very much. So, just facts.

I won't be too excited about this if I were you, this comparo can be classed along an M3 V S4 comparison:get my point.
I think a 335i with PP Vs S4 will be a better comparison test.

The BMW is newer... it`s more efficient and a better all around package. It`s simply more refined than the Audi in a lot of important areas which is what buyers are looking for.


I don`t like the design though (ugly in the nose and headlights)... and the fact that BMW gives us a rehashed evolution, is not fresh at all. Give it about 6-7 months and it will start to age.

Audi comes with 10.000 euro higher pricetag. Adaptive chassi, Automatic gearbox and 19" wheels are included in the price with the BMW. Which mean you could add M-package and Performance package for the 335i to get a similar price like S4. Only thing thats not available is proper LSD. S4 got one but the bimmer doesnt.

What is wrong with you? Explain me why the S4 accelerates faster? Surely not AWD, but more power. That is why BMW needs a M335i.

With regard to the topic at hand; an S4 performs better than a boggo Sport Line 335i? Shock, horror - I almost passed out from the surprise.

The M Performance 335i is coming - then it's a proper head to head. For now, the S4 wins because it deserves to. It's the most special Audi to drive this side of the R8.

Oh, I got your point [sic] perfectly: A lot of anger piled up inside you over people saying such things about Audi models and now you're happy to get this anger out of your system for once. My point stands however, it's not that mature either.
