Audi Releases Custom Titanium Package for A4S

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — The already stylish 2006 Audi A4 sedan and Avant models will have a new option package that enhances the car's looks even further. Available at dealers this April, an optional Titanium Package will be available on all A4 2.0T and 3.2 FSI sedan and Avant models already equipped with the sporty S line package. Created by Audi's subsidiary quattro GmbH - in collaboration with Audi of America - the Titanium Package is Audi's response to North American customers who asked for a sportier appearance for their vehicles.

The $500 ($700 Canadian) Titanium Package comes with the following equipment:

•18-inch Titanium colored 15-spoke wheels with high performance tires
•Polished black front grille frame
•Black exterior window trim and black roof rails for the Avant
•Black interior headliner
•Piano black interior beltline trim

With the exception of Dakar Beige and Liquid Blue paint colors, the Titanium Package is available on all S line equipped A4 and A4 Avant models. The new Titanium Package will make its U.S. debut at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show, and the 2006 Toronto Auto Show in Canada.

Besides the development of the S line sport versions of Audi models, and special editions such as the Titanium Package, quattro GmbH has turned its attention to developing high-performance variants of Audi vehicles, such as the new 2007 RS 4. Also on display at the Chicago Auto Show, the RS 4 is powered by a high-revving 420-horsepower 4.2-liter V8 with FSI technology. The first model tuned by quattro GmbH was the highly-acclaimed 450-horsepower RS 6 in 2003.

that colour looks great on the A4, but IMO, much darker colours suit it better. But those wheels could be better.

edit; 500USD are very small price, even for the wheels alone. I would have to pay about 1600 eur. to change the wheels in my S60 when i ordered it!

Those pictures of the A4 don't make it look so great. It looks dated. Bring on the B8 A4!!

You really think so!?

I think it's looks as fresh as it can be. I am in love with this car, and drool everytime I see it!

Titanium pack looks great, does a lot for this cars aesthetic flaws, namely the unproportioned grill. I'll wait for the B8.
