50 Cent busted for Lamborghini lane change

Rapper 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) was arrested today while driving his silver Lamborghini Murcielago roadster. He was pulled over for making an unsafe lane change, and subsequently charged for the driving infraction, as well as driving with an expired permit, driving without insurance and driving without a vehicle registration. He was originally pulled over by plainclothes officers, an initially refused to get out of the car, instead making a call on his phone. More officers eventually arrived, and he got out of the car and was handcuffed. Spectators crowded around the scene, cheering the rapper and booing when Mr. Jackson was handcuffed. By the miracle of modern technology, we have a number of camera phone shots after the jump…

I think it's more the fact that he was driving with no insurance, no registration and with an expired driver's licence

Ha ha! Nothing would have happened if he wasn't driving like a bafoon. I love it.

I've heard that it's common practice to just not have insurance on cars like this, because the cost is so high and road time is typically very low.

That seems crazy to me, he has so much money, affording this wouldn't be a problem for him!

Damn the car is hot. I want to se more pictures of it. Finally he has some good taste. The rear indicator as clear which is a very nice touch, the paint job isn't too shiny and he i still rolling on stock rims. Looking at the rear licence plate the car seen to have been driven straight out of Unique Autosports garage or something.

You know the old adage… money doesn’t buy intelligence. He’ll probably use this to further his “bad-ass” persona.

Actually many people want to be like him. At least he should obey the traffic laws.

Ok, you can speak, dress, behave like a gangster or a rapper, but please drive like a human being. Do not risk your and other people's lives!

And since he new that police officers in the US are not just kidding around, he should not try to play the gangster and do what they wanted. This way he could go away with a ticket, so it was definitely his fault that he got arrested!

BTW, has anyone seen his biography movie? I think it was Get rich or die trying

One newspaper had a review titled "Watch or Get Bored Trying", or something like that.. :D

Ah well. He can now show off his bad-ass criminal record: "...and in 2006 I got done - for, for.. for changing lanes without indicating, and not having rego or insurance! I'm sooo baaadd!"

It's not like he can't afford the insurance or the rego. Guess you got it coming when you attract so much attention.

Truth of the matter is, he got pulled over for nothing, if it wasnt the car, and him being who he is, he would have never been pulled over...

Unsafe lane change is as common as drinking a Pepsi....

Checking for insurance and Reg... takes a couple of minutes on the onboad computer.... they didnt need to pull himover for that.

He's wrong for not driving with all the right credentials, but not signaling for lane change is just not a issue here in NYC.

I he would have done it in a dark blue suzuki alto it wouldn't have been a problem but he was rolling in a mirror painted murcielago ROADSTER. Hell yeah the police are going to notice you and try to see who's driving the car.
