OMG... A 1.5 million Bentley with conventional door handles instead of those fancy pop-up ones.

When it comes and some of the ridiculous things that come out as concepts, I am generally pretty sober and can appreciate at least the those flights of whimsy. But this just pisses me off. And I am not some sort of Bentley die-hard, but seriously to whoever who was involved in thinking this was ok, **** you.

The laziness of it all. What a cynical design exercise.

A big disappointment, it's not that they don't meet my expectations, but worse than that, really look very incongruous and ugly

Looks a bit better here, but the Aston-Martin influence is heavy.

A bit difficult expressing what I don't like about the Bacalar. Too many air inlets/outlets for certain. The windscreen frame that looks like a tacky afterthought also annoys me (it's an element that has always managed to turn me off to Audi cabriolets save the TT.). And the color reminds me of substances often found in infants' diapers. I dunno...the Bacalar simply lacks that air of "freshness", looking terribly dated.

^^
Basically a heavily facelifted Continental GT

Arguably so. And the front wing air inlets/outlets remain a bit "much". But otherwise, this is a nice spin on the Conti GT-and FAR more enticing than the Bacalar Concept. Crisper, more modern. Retractable door handles ala Porsche Taycan would be a nice touch. In fact, the aesthetic invites a BEV platform.

Perfect climate for the car. Smooth roads, sunny weather and minimal threat of rain. At his height, it's probably easier to get in and out of a Batur than it would have if it was a hard top.
