Hey guys, yesterday I was passing by AD motors (BMW dealership) and while I was talking to the salesman which happens to be a friend of mine, he mentioned that they are delivering an X6 to one of the VIPs (shipped by a plane). I was amazed since I thought the launch will be in May. Anyways I went inside their storage warehouse and started taking photos. Unfortunetly the photos weren't enough + unclear. The car was being polished for delivery. Next to it there was some X5s 7ers + other BMWs. The car really stood out ... I asked them for a spin and the salesmen said its really difficult and may jeoparadize their jobs.

I have to wait to 31st March before X6 comes to Sweden.

Boy what a stunner from BMW. They do the best SUV designs in my eyes. The X5 and X6 are stunning vehicles inside and out.

Mate, I really had a hard time realizing that I will still wait from 2 to 6 months ... the car looks exotic. I can't see how BMW can top this with their next design language .. It is stunning. And BTW, I am selling my 7er to avoid depreciation upon the launch of the next 7er. I will lease or buy a relativly cheap car for the time being until my next ride arrives. My wife luvvved it although she is an Audi fan. The only thing that is bugging me right now is the interior combination, no dark brown is available with ventiliated seats

Nope, its the 3.0TT .. look at the exhaust tip. BTW my car will be exactly like this, same rims/interior combo ..

Me too Tycoon but what to do I can't wait for another 3 months after the launch ... it will add up into more than a year from now. Plus it ain't that bad, the one above got carbon fibre instead of wood. looked nice but I'd rather wood.

I always wanted a black interior but ... the summer is like 6 months here and imagine a black leather in the sun ...

This car gets released in the same month my lease expires. Know wonder I love my BMW's. Not sure it's the car for me however. Thats not say I dislike the car. It is fantastic. Watch BMW sales explode when this babe hits the market running.

Park in the shade Don't forget the active seat ventilation option. I have black leather myself in my 530i. Fortunetly, my car spends most of its time underground, inside an air-conditioned car park.

CF Trim in that white one you posted? I'm not sure how beige leather and CF work together... With beige leather i'd only take a Bamboo wood or Piano Black/High Gloss black, not CF for sure.

Maserati,Very nice pic's!!!!.As one that has been lucky enough to have seen the X6 up close many times,I continue to believe the X6 is one of BMW's best designs!The ability to somehow mask the visual size of the X6 is still amazing to me.It is physically a big vehicle,but your eye's and brain say sedan.Slick design.Thanks. How coincidental (or better yet, lucky) is it that the one X6 they had stored away just so happened to be in white, your color of preference?

And it came with your/my rim choice as well....the best way to really tell if you want a vehicle is to see it in your actual color choice, because it does make all the difference.

Yeah I was blown away .... The good thing is that I was at the dealer 2 days before begging for a catalogue and 2 days later I see the car personally ... what a great surprize. I kinda like these Rims the best on the X6. It goes well with the car complex design ..

IMO X6 will be extremely popular in Middle East countries, especially UAE.

true bearing in mind that one of the most wanted cars in UAE is the RangeRover sport. Its really boring to watch that car here. I wish the X6 sells well however this means it will loose some of its exclusivity.

You know guys, I think I made the right decision. I've always wanted an SUV. I used to think those SUV fans are just going with the flow but recently I discovered it isn't just a trend. In an SUV I feel like I have more options. My friends and I go off-roading but not "landrover" kind of off-roading,its more like "soft" offroading. Plus I've always wanted a sports car performance and an everyday practical car with nice boot. The only cars that offered that kind of qualities were the Cayenne and the X5. I've always had mixed feelings about the looks of the cayenne leaning more toward uglyness while the new X5 is kind of under-powered compared to the old 4.8iS but it really drove nicely (thanks to the AS + well balanced chasis). In addition, I really like how BMW manages to produce their cars. I mean it is a solid built car, full of technology (iDrive, electronics .. etc) + I am addicted to their road feel & steering/throtle response!. Add to that, BMW is really a quiet car when it comes to isolating unwanted noises! The only noise they allow into the cabin is the engine noise which gives the adernaline rush that any enthusiastic driver wants! I really think that I can live happily with an ugly BMW than a beautifully designed MB or Audi! Sorry no offened to the other marques but I feel a true driver would appreciate BMWs more than the others.

As for the X6, it combined most of the things I wanted in a car. Even my wife luvved the idea of combining several cars into one and the outcome was weird in a very nice way.
