Thanks for the post!!!

Car looks so good in black. Looks the perfect interior and exterior combination on this car. I can imagine in 1-2 years time, there will be heaps of these driving on the road. I think this car will be a huge success. It already is from a design point of view, so I imagine the same from a sales point!

Re: Black X6 35D spotted

If you go back to my previous and first X6 reports you will see the brief for the X6.

That drivers that enjoy their close proximity to winter locations either have a sporty coupe for a main car and a regular 4x4 for the Winter get-away weekends. With the X6 being a combination of a performance car with four wheel drive. The creative marketing has gone into overdrive and each Winter sport location from Austria to Italy, Switzerland to even remote areas of the UK the X6 is there.

With some BMW personnel signed them out for their Winter holiday. And will add additional test reports to the X6 project team. And of course wait for the exposure on the internet.

At Geneva time look out for the X6 in the BMW Compound at the exhibition hall and of course the hotels around the City as many BMW execs have them for the duration of their presence at Geneva.

Re: Black X6 35D spotted

I see....they are trying to confuse me. The front grill is the one intended for the 50, yet everything else about the vehicle says 35. I am putting 2 and 4 together to say that the 50 will very shortly follow the 35? Or will this be a dealer option?

Two models will receive the black grille, the 30d and 35i, whilst two will receive the titanium trim grill, namely the 35d and 50i, so the car above is wearing the correct front grill.

Re: Black X6 35D spotted

Since this is the 35d model and it sports the "black grill" , why is the grill chrome looking in those pictures? Is it just the lighting or just the name that BMW has for it?

Re: Black X6 35D spotted

As I said, the 35d is supposed to have a titanium grille, so the spec of the car in the picture above is correct.
