Black X6 xDrive 35i spotted at local Mickey D's

I live in the Upstate area of SC,home of BMW Manufacturing.I spotted this Black X6 at a local McDonalds tonight.It is the first black X6 I've seen in person or in any pics.Absolutely gorgeous automobile!!!! Much better in person than any of the pics I've seen.Got out and walked around the car.Appeared to be a finished production model.Interior was black or dark grey.The back seat had child seats in both spaces.Car had a BMW Manufacturer tag,I'm certain it was an employees take home tester.There was no camo on the car.This is the first X6 around town that I've seen w/ no camo.All badging and BMW logo's were clearly visible. The car from a distance appears smaller that it is up close.I'm 5'10'' tall and the top of the X6's rear hatch hits me about mid chest.One of the front air vents that surrounds the fog lamps is not operational.The right side vent as you face the car contains a small radiator of some sort.Not sure what it is cooling...transmission,motor oil,etc.A very impressive car with an awesome street presence! Thanks for the pic. At the highest point, the X6 is even taller than the mini-van right next to it.

I actually wanted mcd's after seeing that movie to be honest
Look, what they need to teach people here is moderation. Anything can be bad for you if you eat too much. Hell, some of the salads I've seen here are worth 3 meals on their own.

Back to the car. Looks great. I prefer those wheels on the X5 for some reason, a bit too heavy looking for this coupe looking thing. I absolutely cannot wait to see this car in real life... not to mention work in spartanburg

JadeVetti, Thanks for the kind words.Being a BIG BMW fan and huge X6 fan I guess it's like getting to live inside the candy jar! I'm very lucky indeed.I have now figured out where this Black X6 lives.I'm going to try and get some daytime pics w/o getting arrested for being some sicko Bimmer stalker!!!??? Thanks. Palbay

Spartanburg City population is approx 39,000.Spartanburg County is approx 267,000.We lived in Spartanburg for about 5 yrs before moving over to Greenville.Spartanburg is a very nice place to live.Not quite as cosmopolitan as Greenville,G'ville has more corporate/regional company headquarters ,etc..G'ville just "lives" a little bigger than Spartanburg.Both places very nice.The downtowns of G'ville and Spartanburg are about 25 miles apart.Hope this helps.Thanks. My in laws live in NC, so I drive from Spartanburg/Greenville APO to go see them, you don't know how my heart pounds a bit faster whenever I see that BMW logo from the road at the plant. I'm dying to go there for the M Driving School, maybe this summer.

It's a little funny how I have figured out where to look for these early prototypes.About the time the 2nd gen X5 was in prototype testing,I noticed some camo'ed up X5's fairly close to where I live.I did follow a few home.There is one particular neighborhood in the area that seems to have a very high percentage of residents who drive early prototype testers home.I'm not sure what's up w/ that particular neigborhood,other than it's a nice place to live, and only about 8 or so miles from the BMW Plant.When I saw the Black X6 at Micky D's,I figured it was time to visit my "Prototype Neighborhood".Sure enough,I went to the same house where I had seen the 2nd Gen X5,and there she sat,right in the driveway,the aforementioned X6!Trick now is to get those daytime pics.Thanks.Palbay
