BTW anyone know if nightvision will be available later on? As faar as i know it wont be able in the launch, correct?

Maybe BMW will give nightvision to more models soon, since here in sweden they are running the "Active safty"-commerical pretty often.

hmm allthough the aero kit helps the car alot..it does look like over done..with cuts and bits and pieces all over.. confusing imo

The 6-disc changer in glove box is an awkward location. Why can't they put in-dash changer like the Japanese?

Those aero kits look hot on the car! but i'm not too sure about the rims, anyhows, is there a possibilty of ordering the aero kit from america and have it delivered to Dubai? coz the people from the showroom in dubai said that they'll be recieving it some time in june :S i can't wait that long! lol

Still haven't seen one in person, but it sure does look good here. I mean both inside and out BMW nailed it.

X5 on Detroit auto show

Cheers man. Wow, that was such a positive review, as much as I hate that guy. but man, I am in love with the X5. From the way it looks with those upgraded wheels, to the awesome interior, and with the little things (glovebox, idrive shortcuts...). I would pick this car over a 7er

Any of you notice that the guy mentions the center console storage and he was trying to get it open but couldn't then calmly goes on to mention the iDrive etc. etc...

He is right about a few things, it is gorgeous inside and out, but the third row seat is useless even for kids. I wonder why they didn't launch it with the 335 engine? I guess when the 400hp V8 is shown with the next 7 they'll use the turbo I6 and that V8 to keep the balance.

Well... lose the third row seats and get few of those chair and store it in the cargo area so if anyone ever need to set in the back I'll just tell them to use that that's $10 each compare to $1,200+ US dollars and it's also a space saver too since they are so small in size AND you can put them anywhere you like it in the cargo area so you can adjust for leg room.

The January issue of BMW car magazine has the review for E70. Can anyone post it? Thanks.
