The Ever resourceful Palbay has caught the X3 undergoing evaluation on the Performance track at it's new manufacturing base in Spartanburg.
Here you can see how it illustrates it's mini-X5 aura.

Which is especially the direction the F25 X3 has taken .
It is completely worlds apart from the E83 , dynamically , status and quality.

X7 cancelled...I feel save to say that the F25 X3 moving up dynamically,status and quality would "replace" the slot in wich the E70 X5 compete the latter being big and luxurious enough to stands it's ground against the MB-GL and the X1 to compete with the Q5 and GLK?
Well if you compare prices of the mentioned BMW's in SA that will be the case here

X6 against the Cayenne and RR Sport...

looks top-heavy. If the last one, which was damn ugly, could sell, this I'm sure will sell even more though there is stiffer competition this time around with Audi, MB, Infiniti Acura and more.

i get the feeling that this new X3 might just surpise us and end up going from the ugliest BMW to the best looking SAV in BMW's lineup.

A true (and literal) Cinderella story.

A smaller X5 with a few extra exciting lines.. that's definitely what the doctor ordered for the X3. Bye bye to wanting an X1.. X3 is shaping up to be BMWs best SAV.
