Where is the spoiler?

I don't see the spoiler on that linkk

"Elektronische Abregelung der Höchstgeschwindigkeit bei 280 km/h mit Designpaket Carbon für den Motorraum und permanentem Heckspoiler für erhöhten Anpressdruck ab 250 km/h (1.800,00 EUR)"

in english this means, the stationary spoiler costs money^^ (packet together with 280kmh and carbon engine bay)
i dont know if is right, i read this on motortalk.de
the configurator will be available on audi.de today or tomorrow. so..

It would be fantastic if the ugly fixed spoiler is optional, but i don't see how that is possible considering how the first gen TT got into trouble for lack of rear down force. May be a movable wing ala TTS is standard on the RS too.

If I was going to use this car for the track I wouldnt give a ratass about the ugly spoiler.

But that was a basic design flaw of the 1 gen. TT. They must have designed the 2 gen. TT better, right?

It is a flaw with that kind of shape, one with a sloping back and with out a rear boot/deck for air flow to press down on. Nothing specific to the 1st gen TT. Even 911s and Cayman/Boxter has that problem and why they all have a rear wing. With out it, the rear will get very light at higher speeds especially under heavy breaking.

Finally - the German price-list > Audi TT RS

It contains no surprises. The rear spoiler is standard but you can also choose a retractable one (without extra fee). The pricing is the same as stated before:

Audi TT RS Coupé > EUR 55.800
Audi TT RS Cabrio > EUR 58.650

The TT RS is kinda hot and I love it's resemblance to the S2 I drove in the mid-90s ! But I think that I'll stay with my Croc. An used 997 GT3 (with low mileage) could be an interesting future option for me.

Tasty like a cheery. But the alu lip, diffuer and large spoiler makes the car look waaay faster than what it really is.

You kiddin me? This car goes to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds. That is just as fast as any sportscar out there. It IS just as fast as it looks. And it's beautiful!

For some reason I forget about this car!! Just checked the Audi configurator yesterday and "found" it again!! Looks fabulous!! Really like this little fast roadster!!!

A swedish guy involved with the TT-RS project got the question how fast around N-ring. He wasn't 100% certain but he think the best time Audi did was 8.04 min.

I have in front of me three different reviews of the TT-RS (from Swedish AMS, Swedish Automobil and EVO (will post summaries)). Very, very mixed reception... but they all agree it is a great car.

I saw one like this on a parking lot yesterday.... really nice!!! it drives away from most of the cars... with grace
