Feruccio drives a tractor, a Countach and Mr. Balboni also takes it out for a spin. A really really great clip that should be seen. I think it's from "60 minutes".

No replies? This should really be watched by anyone who even slightly likes Lamborghini.

Re: Great Countach video!

I love this video. Certainly more formal and serious than what we have today (Top Gear, for example).

The Countach must have been such a looker when it was launched! It must have looked like something out of this world... I wouldn't mind getting this cheap now. But some of the inconveniences are such a hassle. Didn't they have windows that could wind down in those years? Those slits seem kind of ridiculous.

And when the showed the production process, I was thoroughly impressed that the whole thing was made by hand, and the parts were made right at the factory. I feel I'd be more satisfied owning this than say, a modern day Murcielago.

James in TG also reviewed this. I must say, Lamborghini made cars that are so freakin' awesome, and they are doing the same today!

Great report and step back in time! Crazy that Lambo test driver had the licence to drive at whatever speed he felt like on public roads - dunno if that would be possible today! And it was an interesting notion regarding the fact they don't have a test track - the rationale was that the cars were designed for the road and thus should be tested on the road... wonder if that's still the case with lambo now?

Definitely worth the watch, thanks for sharing

It's simply a different format - we still have (formal journalistic) programs styled like this today (as Zonda mentioned, 60 minutes is an example...). It doesn't seem to be a dedicated car show either...
