Re: AutoCar TV - Super Saloon Showdown: IS-F, M3, C63 AMG

Did I really see correctly, did the M3/ISF beat the C63 in the straightline race?

(Im watching without sound)

Yes. Something obviously wrong there.

The whole "test" was pretty dubious. Meant purely for entertainment value. What's with this obsession for drifting competitions??

Re: AutoCar TV - Super Saloon Showdown: IS-F, M3, C63 AMG

funny thing was when the guy pulled out the keys from his jacket and handed the M3 ones to the old guy I was like "that old man is soo going to make the M3 lose, can he even drive a manual!?" lol. Never judge a book by its cover.

Very interesting results, something was definitely not right with the drag race, and the M3 was worst in the drifting contest, IMO even the IS-F carried out a better drift.

Pure entertainment. Both the IS-F and the M3 got a too good jump at the start... run this test ten times and switch drivers.

Re: AutoCar TV - Super Saloon Showdown: IS-F, M3, C63 AMG

Looks like the guy didn't push the C63 in the start. You can see the wheelspin from both ISF and M3, but you just see the C63 roll out from the start without drama.

A single random quarter mile, boot size and some sliding - can it get any more shallow as far as tests go?
