Brabus rims have never looked so good on an AMG body kit. The car was a SL500 BTW.

Other than it being white and having cool rims, I do not see much specialness, sorry.

Part of what makes this SL so gorgeous IMO is the white color. CLASSY is the word I'm thinking off. But then again, white = exotic color in Germany on luxury cars. I bet in Japan, they're all sick of seeing white MB's and BMW's!

Sorry i don't like white cars (apart from a white Gallardo spyder but that's a different story). Apart from that it's a nice car but nothing special.

Hmmm. I guess I've seen worse! j/k! Looks pretty nice, though I prefer more deep, rich colours like on this Designo SL55.

Which one - the one I posted? I didn't think it was a 65. To me it looks like a 55 with the performance package.

I pity the Benz designers with the task of designing the replacement.

Well, considering the spy pics of the facelift, I'm not ultra confident. Not too bad, but somehow not as cohesive as the pre-FL.

That's a nice colour on the SL55, Jono. I usually don't like dark blue because it can look flat and also too much like black, but without the impact of absolute black. I prefer dark grey and also deep, rich red; though maroon's more suited to large sedans than a roadster, IMO. This dark blue is great, though.

I love sponge bob! Yea I was honestly expecting alot more when you said it was the hottest SL you had ever seen. Just a tad dissapointed thats all Dont see whats too special.

Don't get me wrong Christian, that white Sl500 is really hot, especially with those rims and the glass roof! I just prefer darker, more reflective colours on big Mercs! Since you like white Mercs, here's a great picture of a 55 (picture courtesy of 98indypacer on Benzworld) for you to drool over!

I still believe that white color makes the car look plain and hides the design details. It's no coincidence that we see less white cars on the streets each year.

Mr.wimmer, you get impressed to easily with all these MB's. Set your standards a bit higher, a set of Brabus rims makes you excited too easily.

I never liked the Brabus rims much. Some of their models are good but some are aweful.

This one for example looks very dated:

They look pretty good, they have some nice styles, they still hold time unlike many others, that look like it belongs on a '92 Benz S.
