Alongside the pair of modified ML63 AMG SUVs shown today, the SL65 AMG Black Series was launched for the U.S. at Laguna Seca raceway in California. The 661hp (493kW) V12-powered German supercar also received European pricing today, though Americans will simply be left to apply the adage "if you have to ask, you can't afford it."

I think I'll pass on this one, I don't like the orange side marker... besides I am flat out "afraid" to ask the price...:-)

Saw the SL 65 AMG Black Series this evening... definetily a stunning car... Talked to an older man, who can´t believe that this was an Mercedes with so much horsepower... He said to me, that he likes to drive his 525i over a Mercedes at all

What i meant was it finally on sale in the U.S. If I wanted to buy one I would it least wait until summer, when it would probably be sold under M.S.R.P., so I don't get ripped off.
