| Design your ultimate car I have what I call my "ultimate car" whic is pretty much and exsisting vehicle w/ added specification consisting of aftermarket parts. So here it goes... Base: E90 335i sedan - twin turbo torque laden, creamy smooth, traditional BMW inline six motor. Two extra doors for the added utility and knownig that they're there (breaks my heart to realize that I'd be hard pressed to keep the coupe over the long run, the sedan I could keep forever). Add ons: - 19" Hartge Classic II's (these won out over the ACS V's). - M sport body kit - Eisenmann quad exhaust - M sport steering wheel w/ Alcantra trim - Euro headlights - E90 M3 rear lip spoiler (whatever it will look like) - Black line tail lights This is pure fantasy, because in real life I'd probably never do any of the above except for the M sport body kit, Euro headlights and Eisenmann exhaust (dual pipe design, not quad). Cool thought though. ![]() |

| Re: Design your ultimate car The reason I hang out at car forums is to gather as much knowledge as possible about cars so when I go ahead to build my own it will turn out as good as possible. I have given this more thought than all the guys in the world have thought about nude chicks combined. But I still don't think I have enough knowledge to make it perfect so I haven't gotten started writing down all the features and so on. I promise I will when I think I have the perfect car

| Re: Design your ultimate car I think the ultimate car is a moving target. Right now my ultimate car will be my own car once I finish the couple of upgrades I'm doing to it: Replace the RUF modified K27 turbo with the latest technology available for this car: K27 highflow S from Imagine Auto/Ultimate Auto Werks, modded euro fuel head (20% more flow) and an adjustable WUR so that I can adjust the Air to Fuel ratios myself, and I am putting in a wideband O2 monitor as well. That should keep me happy for a few months, and then I'll probably start thinking some new things to add on or replace again. I'm doing the upgrades myself which makes it real satisfying.

| Re: Design your ultimate car There's 2 ultimate cars for me: one is attainable and not really that special, and one is a dream car. The attainable one would be: E90 335i, full option, Alpine white: - Perfect size, not too big, not too small. Great looking car too - New engine, plenty of Torque - I would put: A Hartge front lip, OEM spoiler, BBS or Oz rims, blackline tailights, euro headlights - Blackout the grill This is the car I dream about all day and night because it's not such an unfeasable dream. Cloud 9 car... M6 or 997TT |

| Re: Design your ultimate car Well, I dont really have a 'dream' car like Deutsch has put it. I'm pretty happy with a stock M5. But here's a car I drew which could be my dream supercar... ![]() ...or maybe my dream luxury Rolls Royce coupe... ![]() .. that last pic is just some weird R-class-ish type of car I drew.

I just love the way it looks, with an in your face grille and how the rear deck is lower than the front hood. I always imagined it had exposed door hinges, like a Jeep Wrangler, and that you could take the doors off if you wanted a really hardcore driving experience. There is little to no trunk, the car is too purposeful and lightweight to allow luggage to throw off the driving experience. | |

| Re: Design your ultimate car Nice drawing Dom, is that a Mercedes supercar, looks like it with that grill! I think the point in this thread is to say your dream car with all the options you want on it! I'd have a white M5 with all the options, oh and a white Porsche GT3! |

| Re: Design your ultimate car As an update to my previous post: I have the modified euro fuel head, adjustable WUR and the WMS wideband O2 setup installed and the car is running good. I am still waiting for the K27 HighFlow S turbo that I have paid for already a month ago. The reason for the delay, I've been told, is that Borg Warner had a strike and now they are busy filling the backlogs. Anyhow, once I have the turbo in, whenever that will be, and when I've broken it in, I will go to the dyno and then post a separate thread of my current dream car.

| Re: Design your ultimate car My 335 has went back into the garage for further modification... a beast is born... original mods + -5.0 V10 (M5/6 engine) -7 spd SMG transmission ok, so pretty much a Hartge H50 w/ a twist. |
