fantastic experience. even dangerous to drive, because everbody on the road is starring at you. e.g someone stared at the car with his side mirrors and almost crashed his car in the curbs, overreacted and pulled than his car on my line...uhh... grown up people become childish ( like me ..) are overtaking
you on the streets or autobahn (speed limit) , pulling in front of you , hitting the brakes and so on. So the best way to deal with that car is to drive as fast as possible (or allowed) so that nobody can overtake you or is driving arround you..

I was astonished by the cheap looking radio and surface of the center console, ....feeled a little bit cheap. Anyway, everthing else was spectacular and unforgettable. Sound is phenomenal, best V8 sound I would say...

I was too busy with the car, everything else was secondary at that moment ;-)

Fastest i have owned is my CL55 with about 550hp. And fastest car i have ever driven was a Lamborghini Murcielago with a 6.2-liter, 12-cylinder, 580hp.

Wow. some of you guys are pretty hardcore. Not even by adding the power of all the cars I have driven can I reach the 750hp figure.

Adding together, I could easily. Not in one car, though.

The most powerful car I've actually driven myself was probably just my brother's E55 which has 354 bhp and 390.9 lb. ft. of torque according to one website. It was the last bodystyle, not the current one. Second to that would probably be my Dad's A8L in power. But it's not all about how much power, it's about how you use it. The car I drive everyday now has 300 horsepower (Subaru Impreza WRX STi). It should be around 370, though once summer break is over.

The most powerful car I've had a ride in I believe is a tuned 996 Porsche which was probably pushing around 550 horsepower.

I believe you. While hanging out with my cousin about a month ago, a Carrera GT pulls up next to us on a red light. Everyone started slowing down once the light turned green. He wasn't pushing it, doing about 20 to 30 MPH. We followed him for a couple of blocks and I took a couple of pics with my cell then took off. When I seen him around 10 minutes later, he was boxed-in from all sides by other drivers LOL.



You really thought the interior felt cheap? I've seen a couple of SLR's in the dealerships and can honestly say that it's an awesome looking interior. The radio is meant to save weight I guess, it's already heavy as it is. Imagine how heavier it will be if they added COMAND to it.

One thing I've always wanted to know, does the SLR have keyless Go since it has the "Start/Stop Engine" button on the gearshifter? Did you have to start it with the key in the ignition or was it in your pocket?

I would rather prefer a alu brushed surface of console and radio than a plasic feeling. Dont know the reasons for saving another 1lbs, but maybe it was a security/crash test issue to use plastic

There is no Keyless Go. You have to use the remote control and to use the 'button' at the door to open it. Than the door slides up. Otherwise the doors would maybe swing up unintentionally.

update: Today i drove a top fuel Dragster.. it had like several thousand Hp´s
i guess im no1 on the list now

The most powerful car I`ve driven was the W140 S600, 402hp..
I have to admit that car was quick! the steering felt very robotic though.



If you`ve driven a car with 400hp or better, your doing good here!

I hope the neighbors didn't mind that you had to bleach the street to get grip from the tires and they had to wear gas masks because of the nitromethane
