The Nieman-Marcus InCircle program, designed for customers belonging to the luxury retailer's customer recognition program, will offer 100 specially-equipped Lexus LS 600h L Launch Edition models in recognition of its 100th anniversary this year. For the fortunate 100 obtaining these vehicles, Lexus has put together a package that demonstrates all of the unique and innovative features that differentiate the Lexus brand in the luxury segment.
The 100 LS 600h L Launch Edition models will feature a unique exterior color called Truffle Mica, as well as an Alabaster interior featuring special badging that bears the sequential number of each of the 100 LS 600h L Launch Edition model produced. Unique nineteen-inch chrome wheels and a custom Italian leather luggage set that matches the interior will complete the aesthetics onslaught. Along with the myriad of technologies with which the LS 600h has been stuffed, the now-infamous Advanced Parking Guidance System will also be offered as an option.
Manufacturers obiously go to great lengths to be a part of the Nieman-Marcus vehicle program. With the upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction, perhaps these unique and rare specially-built vehicles will someday make an impact in the collector car market.

TORRANCE, Calif., Jan. 4 -- In celebration of Neiman Marcus' 100th anniversary in October, Lexus is making available 100 specially equipped LS 600h L Launch Edition models to be offered through the retailer to its InCircle(R) members -- customers belonging to the luxury retailer's customer recognition program. The InCircle program has a long history of established partnerships with select companies dedicated to excellence. To that end, Neiman Marcus this year offers this exclusively designed vehicle from Lexus directly to
its InCircle members.
Offered to Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman customers, the InCircle program provides members the opportunity to earn points on an annual basis. These points may be redeemed at any time throughout the year once the customer has accumulated enough for the gift of their choice. The LS 600h L is the world's first luxury full hybrid V8 vehicle, available to the public mid-2007. But for the fortunate few, 100 specially-equipped Limited Edition models of Lexus' most inspired and innovative vehicle will be available for purchase by InCircle members. "Lexus is proud to offer this revolutionary car to Neiman Marcus' most loyal and discerning customers," said Deborah Meyer, vice president of marketing for Lexus. "They will not be disappointed -- the LS 600h L stands alone in its class as the world's foremost hybrid vehicle in performance,
style, safety and luxury." Each of the 100 LS 600h L Launch Edition models will feature a special exterior color, Truffle Mica, a sophisticated four-coat color with a lustrous clear coat highlighting the fluid, sculpted lines of the LS. The interior will feature a luxurious Alabaster color, with interior badging that marks the LS 600h L as a Launch Edition vehicle. Exclusive 19-inch chrome alloy wheels have been created for this edition LS. In addition,
owners will receive a specially crafted Italian leather luggage set that will match the unique interior color scheme.

The hybrid-drive system in the LS 600h L combines an all-new five-liter V8 gasoline engine with large, high-output electric motors and a newly designed large-capacity battery pack. This advanced combination will provide the LS 600h L with an unmatched balance of environmental efficiency and a peak combined output rating of more than 430 horsepower. Technology amenities will include voice-activated hard disk drive (HDD) Navigation with Bluetooth(R) technology and XM real-time traffic system, a first in the prestige luxury segment, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system with power nine-inch drop-down screen, and the specially developed 19-speaker 450-watt Mark Levinson(R) Reference Surround Sound audio system, which creates a new standard for automotive sound systems. In addition, the LS 600h L will be the world's first vehicle to be equipped with LED
headlights for nighttime and low-beam use. The all-new LS 600h L will offer an Advanced Parking Guidance System. The driver simply selects a parking spot, lines up the vehicle and pushes a button and the system parks the car with just a little brake work by the driver.

We proudly present the 2008 Lexus LS 600h L Launch Edition, arriving in mid-2007. It features the world’s first full-hybrid V8 powertrain, is equipped with all-wheel drive and is based on the long-wheelbase Lexus LS, making the ride exemplary.
As for the amenities, they have to be seen to be believed. The lustrous paint is an exclusive Truffle Mica, the interior features sumptuous Alabaster leather-trimmed seats, and each vehicle will be numbered with commemorative Launch Edition badging. This rare luxury sedan even comes with a set of custom-made Italian leather luggage.
While all of the Lexus LS 600h L Launch Edition vehicles are special, the very first one off the line has a rare distinction. That’s because it was donated to raise funds for The Road To A Cure medical research foundation, and offered up on November 16, 2006. Lexus is proud to partner with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer.

Is that really the exact same building?

The more I look at the picture, I really do have a feeling they are. Take a look, the LS is just further ahead. (so you're not able to see the stairs and doors)

That's pretty pathetic..Anybody know what the buliding is? A normal house or a historic landmark (Frankloyd Wright or something like that) ?

Well to be realistic, many locations in the world are chosen repeatedly for car photoshoots for different brands. Although this Lexus one is a shame because the car is angled similar and it is taken almost at the same spot, too.

I don't think the buildings are similar, but they have a similar design (Bauhaus). The fact is that Mercedes choose this type of building for a photoshoot with their flagship: the S-Class.

A year later, Lexus releases their top-of-the-line flagship in a similar pose at a similar location. Coincidence? Possibly, but I think Lexus got inspired by MB if you know what I mean.

The only Lexus screwed up in this photo are the rims. Terrible. I like the new LS, but those rims looks terrible. Just terrible.

For sure, vehicles are shot in the same place many times.

Glad you brought those two pictures up. I'd never suspect Alfa to have copied Pagani from those two shots. Although you see the same rock, the background's totally different. Can't say the same for the Lexus...

Yeah that is rather pathetic isn't it? I noticed their lauch edition wheels are just like the S550's lauch edition wheels. Old habbits are hard to break I guess.
