AMS: Audi TT 3.2 vs. BMW Z4 3.0si vs. Nissan 350 Z vs. Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2

Comparaison:

Photos:
http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/t...a.12 6273.htm

Score: (of 650)
  1. Audi TT 3.2 Quattro - 488 points
  2. BMW Z4 Coupé 3.0si - 476 points
  3. Nissan 350 Z - 418 points
  4. Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2 JTS - 405 points

Audi TT 3.2 Quattro
A successful beginning of the new TT. Without considerable weakness and with packing sportyness, it storms the round to total victory.

BMW Z4 Coupé 3.0si
Ingenious engine, agiles handling and the costs most favorable with distance - the Z4 can the first place be taken only by its lack of comfort.

Not surprising to say the least. Call me crazy if you wish, I'd still take the Alfa.

Re: AMS: Audi TT 3.2 vs. BMW Z4 3.0si vs. Nissan 350 Z vs. Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2

Why does the Alfa always score so low in every test?

Are there other reasons than low acceleration and bad fuel economy?

I believe the Brera's biggest problem is weight, which affects not only the two things you mentioned but also the car's handling. Apparently the new GM-sourced engines lack the character old Alfa engines used to have.
