LOL I had to, every sport orientated generally new supercar that came to my mind, sorry.Ohhhh this is evil, how can we chose!!!!!
Firstthing which needs to be settled is, what will the supercar be used for?

LOL I had to, every sport orientated generally new supercar that came to my mind, sorry.
I would say overall used for everything generally on my polls most you would feel comfortable with living daily and driving daily whether that is the streets or on the track.![]()

Ah - what a "super" poll. Crazy difficult to choose, really...
So, I went with the Ferrari 458 Italia. It's the supercar of the moment in all honesty because - as much as I'm a fan of it - Mercedes' SLS is just a tad too heavy, too big and too old school (in terms of cabin position, visibility etc) to make it into my top 3.
So it's 458 Italia for being a sensational looking and sensational to drive, modern interpretation of the mid-engined entry-level Ferrari theme. It raises the bar and I feel that only the MP4-12C will be able to match or surpass it.
No.2 on my list is the incredible Audi R8 V10, primary reason being that the manual is the transmission of choice and that the car is still usable on normal public roads without the need for weekly chiropractor appointments. It's a spectacular all-rounder and it's simply handsome in any setting. A great driver's car that does everything right and nothing wrong.
Porsche 911 Turbo PDK with Sport Chrono pack. The return of the all-weather, all-season, everyday supercar. It's a car that not only looks fantastic in that traditional 911 manner but also brings new levels of usability and fuel efficiency to the supercar market. It's a tourer, street dicer and track star all in one go... and, why now not a manual? Well that's the reason that the GT2 didn't make it into my top 5; that clutch - frankly - I'm simply not man enough to handle that monstrously heavy clutch in urban traffic. You'd have to an Olympian weight-lifter to make it out of Jo'burg, London or New York without busting out into cramp every 10 minutes. Honestly, I've never felt anything like it.
The GT3 RS just slips into 4th... again, a heavy clutch and trackday bias means that I'd have to be fabulously wealthy to have a GT3 RS as a strictly weekend supercar. Even though it is the epitome of rear-engined boxer hotness.
As for 5th place - yeah - I'd be happy with an SLS!![]()
Having just viewed the recent vids in the LFA thread, I'd say there's most certainly love for the LFA, it's just that I can't bring myself to lease a Lexus - no matter how fantastic that V10 sounds or how sweet the handling appears to be.No love for LFA, Martin? I would have guessed it would have figured somewhere in your top 5 (having suspended the 'price' factor).
