| I have to disagree here. New E63 seem to be sportier and more engaging drive than previous E55/E63. Last E63 wasnt exactly a engaging car to drive imo.

| What a stupid time for RS6! as i have seen in every test it can achieve a 0-200km/h time of 13.5-14.0s easily, 15.6s is terrible.RS6 should be faster than W212 E63 for sure and as fast as or even faster than a Panamera Turbo to 200km/h.I don't believe in the data. |

| I'll easily take the E63 here. It just looks right. The RS6 is nice too and I love Panamera's front, but the rear...

| I too would pick the E63 over the other two. Interior and exterior styling alone seal the deal for me, and then we have the awesome 6.2 AMG engine, RWD and an excellent gearbox.

I think this new found Mojo at AMG is the result of more managerial autonomy to do what they think is right. The fact that AMG is now largely financially independent means that they can design and engineer components that suit their agenda/characteristics even if some conponents may have no application to the volume-Mercedes siblings. The front axle of the E63 is an example. In the old days, AMG would just have to settle for a fettled version of the standard axle. The design and engineering work of the SLS was largely funded by AMG itself. | |

| AMG seems to be able to tune Benzes as true tuners nowadays. Before it seemed M-B had a big stronghold on even the AMG versions, not allowing them to sacrifice traditional M-B characteristics. Seems they are digging deeper into true race bread status now. I still think the W211 E55 will be the most iconic AMG E-Class to date. Such a beast, and really dropped like a bomb when it came out.

| Yep the W211 E55 and the SL55, both with a killer engine really did get the attention of buyers all around the world and really put AMG in the hot seat. M
